That if you post from a sideblog, it fucks with the labelling of your mutuals?

lexdelioncourt is a sideblog (I made a mistake okay), but when I follow you it follows you as lexdelioncourt-main (the main blog, I know I know I fucked up) and when you get notifications from me it doesn't say that we're mutuals??

This is very rude and now I'm like... how many mutuals do I have who think I don't like them because technically lexdelioncourt isn't following them but lexdelioncourt-main is? Also why can't we like stuff from a sideblog? Why is is so confusing? Why did I make a sideblog in the first place? I have regrets.

I really hate every time someone mentions booktok on tumblr, even when they talk about the diverse side that's pushing back against mainstream bullshit, inevitably someone (usually a white person) will use it as an opportunity to insult booktok as a whole and act like the mainstream white side of booktok is the only one that matters. The side I'm on is fighting right now, pushing back against book bans, standing up against genocide, calling out racism in the community, and holding both authors and readers accountable. But tumblr users who have never touched booktok will completely ignore and write off that side of booktok, and act like they're superior for doing so. You aren't, you're just doing what everyone does to communities that are predominantly made up of marginalized people. You're acting like our voices and perspectives in the reading community don't matter, that we don't even exist.

I want to remind every white booklr member that, while booktok was rallying for the SMP boycott, spreading resources, encouraging others to read and support marginalized authors and creators, calling out inequality in the publishing world, and is still doing this work with with the current cultural boycott against Israeli publishing (how many of you even knew this was happening?) tumblr has largely been silent. Booktok is certainly not been great when it comes to listening to bipoc creators, but it really feels like booklr forgets bipoc people even exist in bookish spaces. Asking white booklr members to not provide free marketing for SMP during the boycott was a lost cause. Ironically, it was met with the same responses that y'all mock booktok for: either "thanks for letting me know" followed by zero change, or "why can't we just enjoy reading/but aren't you hurting marginalized smp authors?"

I just really, really need the white booklr community to reflect on the way you treat booktok like it's a monolith of shitty cishet white people, and whose voices you're erasing when you do this. And for fucks sake, stop acting like you're superior for being on booklr rather than booktok when you haven't lifted a damn finger to improve either community.

Felix’s character is pretty much demolished now

I remember the end of S4 and how I was super hyped to have Felix as a rogue holder with an extreme selfishness but something about him getting with Kagami is so random and out of character to me?

They barely met and he literally kidnapped her…

For some reason I think I just had a super fanon idea of Felix in my head… one where he was super mature and didn’t care for human relation outside of his family - and especially wanted Gabriel’s downfall.

So why in the actual shit did he basically hand all the Miraculous to him?

If Felix’s main goal is to gain freedom for the Sentimonster’s (assuming the Kagami senti theory is true), why would he enable their abuser?

Felix was supposed to be a villain. They made him assault Marinette, get rid of the Miraculous, and lie and lie and lie. So why now are they getting him with Kagami and trying to make him likeable?

Choose one!

Also… on the topic of that theory. It is so fucking weird how they made Felix call the sentimonsters his siblings… if Kagami is a senti… and he’s dating her… *skull emoji*
