I'm obsessed with the idea of colorful artist Clarke and black and white professional Lexa.
The way Clarke would get so happy splashing a blast of color into Lexa's outfits when they're at home, giving her yellow sundresses and colorful knitted sweaters. It's such a small, stupid thing, but she can't help but gleam when Lexa puts her gifted dresses on instead of her 'safe' outfits bc she wants to feel feminine and soft and be twirled around when they dance. Or when it's gets cold and her girlfriend wants more free cuddles without asking- as if she would get any less dressed in gray.
The way Clarke would sometimes dress up in monochromatic or duller colors when joining Lexa at work events to match. And it's such a stark contrast from cuddly, bean, domestic Clarke-wear that Lexa can't handle how hot and serious she looks dressed in black.
