Note that Lexithan!Jon didn't go back to torturing employees, but in the times when he missed Alex, he probably thought about doing it several times in his sheer anguish. 

The fact that one 'unruly employee' is messing with his Office again gives him enough motivation to snap.

Lexithan AU where young!Jonathan is going to abduct his first human for whatever reason (maybe for research, maybe to prove himself as a worthy alien idk) and Alex is his enthusiastic abductee who gives him pointers to being a successful alien 'overlord' (probably based on movies).

Bonus: Jon doesnt know shit about what he's doing, brings Alex to a different planet and then has no clue what to do next.
