A'vaanoh is a former gladiator of some renown. After winning big about a decade ago, he took all his winnings and savings... and got out, seeking an education in criminal law.

A'vaanoh couldn't exactly just set aside the fighting life, so he has a hobby of monster/bounty hunting. That hobby got him into a spot of trouble with a voidsent that he now shares his body and mind with, but... any more information on that will require roleplay!

He's also a romance novelist, and writes for any and all pairings the readers might care to see portrayed! It's another side-hobby that's earned him some small acclaim. The people need an escape - and who is he to deny them their cheesy, smutty romance-adventure-time?

He is likewise heavily involved with chocobo racing! Investing in the breeding and training of as much - like any rich guy with too much money on his hands, why not invest in thoroughbreds? He can be found at the Gold Saucer rather frequently! Pretty 'birds,' after all, aren't always found at the races.

The voidsent he harbors, alone, could lead to a myriad of reasons to interact.

Maybe you're at the Gold Saucer frequently, like he is - or maybe not, and you just run into him there by chance! You could be a chocobo jockey he's sponsoring! Or a chocobo breeder he works with.

Maybe you read his romance novels and you're a fan! Maybe you want to pitch an idea for a romance pairing/setting/etc to an author you like.

Maybe you want to end up on a bounty together/have worked with him in the past! He's often on bounties out in the Coerthas area, as well - since bounties are all over the place, there's no end of ways one could run into him, or have a reason to. Maybe you're hiring, or picked up the same bounty, etc.

He's a criminal defense lawyer - there's another hook that could go several ways.

He lives in Ul'dah - another reason to run into him.

He effectively counts as a (an unorthodox) reaper, with the voidsent he's made a pact with, a scholar because of the magic he uses/it seemed to make sense with his law studies, and a gunbreaker since he likes guns AND magic, and that's more fun on a bounty than whipping out a tome and doing some math.

He's an incorrigible flirt, heartbreaker, and consummate bachelor. There's plenty to work with there, too - I'm open to past connections of all kinds.

He's a pretty affable guy, at that! While he takes his work seriously... he believes in: work hard, play harder! He's a lush, and enjoys alcohol, sex, and luxury as much as most of the wealthy elite around the Jewel of the Desert.

Writer is 30+, and I prefer RP partners to be 21+ - I do prefer darker, more mature RP, but that's not all I'm capable of! I just like morally grey explorations - and questions like 'what really drives a person?'

Late nights aren't really something I can do anymore, past 11-12pm my writing isn't any good, though my schedule is open enough to allow earlier starting times. Also I'm CST, and prefer in-game RP (Balmung). I simply can't stay in character when RP isn't moving in real time, and tend to just forget to respond to out of game stuff, or not feel well enough to write some days, and it ends up taking so long that I can't stay in character. Thus, scheduling in-game scenes ahead of time will always be what works best.

No canon characters please, it just really breaks my immersion/my character wouldn't have any reason to interact with canon characters really! Unfortunately, this means WoL OCs as well - their power level is just so intense that I can't really justify my OCs interacting with the WoL: time-traveling slayer of gods at the edges of the universe. (And no shade to canon RPers of any kind - it's just not my cup of tea, is all. Embrace your fun, my friends!)

I prefer plots, and RP with a purpose - contact solely focused on ERP is not welcome. ERP as part of an on-going story doesn't bother me, however.

I made myself finally hit max level on monk, and celebrated with the new crafted set, and some pics! The poses are just base monk abilities... with the tail maneuvered a little for a more dynamic shot! Canonically, Jak can be considered both a monk, and a DRK - though I don't think I consider her to have a soul crystal for monk. It's just a combat style - though I've considered having her look deeper into the monk arts as they pertain to chi... and learning to, effectively, chi-block casters in a fight.

Gender: Genderfluid? Nonbinary? Really, it's whatever they feel like at the moment. Her pronouns depend on the skin she's in at the time: she/they, or he/they. Typically prefers her female presenting form unless her masculine form is more preferable to those she's interacting with.

Sexuality: All of it. Anything.

Marital Status: Single! She's not settling down, she's always on the prowl.

Profession: She doesn't have one! Though technically they may read your cards or offer a boon...for a price, and she rarely accepts actual currency

Hobbies: Pranking mortals. Preying on mortals. Seducing mortals, people watching... and generally just about anything to do with the forest, or nature.

Distinguishing Marks: Typically veiled as a Miqo'te, there is little distinguishing about her person to those unable to see through the magic she uses - although on occasion, one might spot a fluffier tail than she actually seems to have, out of the corner of their eye. To those able to see through this magic... she's quite a bit different than her feline glamour would suggest to the average person. In their feminine presenting forms, she always has red tattoo-markings around her eyes.

RP Hooks

She's still as-yet un-roleplayed, so there's a lot of potential - and there's less impetus for me to want longer storylines on her, so if you just want a few one-off scenes to have your cards read or the like, those are easier on her than on my other characters, though I'm always a sucker for a long plot/storyline that's steeped in character growth! Never be afraid to approach me if you have an idea!

Maybe you want your cards read! I have several tarot decks IRL, and an oracle deck that's well-suited to her too, and I could no doubt use the practice, myself. She essentially makes fey bargains - deals with weird prices that aren't always clear at first.

She may be centuries old, but she was barely over a century when she was imprisoned out in the East, and only escaped her magical prison in the last couple years! (I was, in fact, inspired by JJK and Sukuna for her imprisonment.) She ran from the East and took a new face to pose as, since she was captured and imprisoned in the East, and the people there still respect the old legends... and the Black Shroud is an excellent forest, vibrant with life! ...and unsuspecting mortals.

Speaking of the Black Shroud, there's a lot of ways to interact with her in regard to that! You could randomly run into her. She could do what kitsune do in the old tales, and lure you off the road at night and get you lost. Maybe you've seen something weird in the forest, or heard strange tales from travelers. Maybe you're just really in tune with the elementals and they've mentioned a new entity in the forest...really, I'm open to about anything with some talk about it beforehand!

She feeds on aether! She doesn't have to kill people to do this, though she's certainly not above it - what are morals to an animal, anyways? Food is food. Prey is prey. But sometimes, it's easier to just seduce someone and feed on their aether, before leaving them naked and drained in the forest to have a laugh at their expense.

Given her long imprisonment, much about the world is new to her! Maybe you lure her in by showing her all the nifty new stuff there is, and blowing her mind at how much things have changed in a few hundred years.

You could be an antagonist! Hunt her, if you like! Maybe she hurt you, or someone you care(d) about! Maybe you're from the East and found out her prison was dismantled, and you fear yokai; or you're just a Shroud Dweller who has been wronged, etc.

Romance! While I don't tend to like interactions that are solely focused on seeking out ERP - she is a sensual creature, and physical intimacy is an indulgence and a way to consume aether... though I don't know how she'd feel about genuine romance... last time she indulged in that, it got her caught and imprisoned!

She likes pranks/mischief... and sometimes that mischief can seem cruel if you don't understand the mindset of a creature of the wild. Engage her on her level, and she might find you more 'fun' than 'food'.

Alternately, she carries her soul around in an orb she wears as jewelry, and if someone got their hands on it, it'd be bad news for her!

About anything you can think of and want to brainstorm together! She's an alt that's good for long-term or short-term RP; serious, or not-so-serious moments... there's plenty of potential!

Ceredwin Hollows is looking for friends, enemies, or allies in the coming days. Her blood corrupted by a Voidsent, and herself sold to said Voidsent by her mother, she is on a quest to free herself of this corruption, to protect her friends, and prove she is far more then what the voices say to her.

Physical

Elezen with large ears, they're back - rather then out. You might notice she can move them, twitch them, or even wiggle them.

Heavily freckled, sapphire blue eyes, and a deep scar over her left eye. You might notice a flash of red in her eyes in certain situations.

She's 6'2" and aught to be "otherworldly attractive." She's theorized that the Voidsent has mutated her, as evidenced by the fangs she's developed, she's unsure of what could be it's doing.

She's grown thin and shapely due to her years wandering Eorzea and training as a Red Mage. While muscular, she's particularly built in her legs and lower body. The upper body has always been smaller(ignore the IG proportions, I fucked up.)

Tattoos. She has a Sharlayan Sage mark on her neck, her right shoulder is adorned with strange spikes and shapes, and her legs adorned with spirals and dots.

Often described as cold to the touch.

Personality

Often cold and stoic, she's an inquisitive mind who's seen quite a bit. Her life alone in an unknown location just outside of the Twelveswoods tells a story, a black cat, a mammet of a dragonling, a seal, and her plants. She can warm up quite a bit, often being the first to help, often the first to break through the crowd to save a life - or to hold someone in pain. She's a dutiful woman, with the intent on helping, and the fear of doing worse then she meant.

Notes

While not Vampiric, she does possess a taste for blood and Aether. It often soothes the voices, which is why she'd seek it out.

Her goal is to kill the Voidsent and free herself. Things like Fangs were added to further my own fantasy of her. She may have more secrets hidden away!

She's slow on romance, and often doesn't catch on. She's particularly interested in Duskwights, Keepers of the Moon, and Hellsguard. Her eyes are mostly only for women, but there does come a rare man who catches her gaze.

OOC

I'm open to any type of friendship for Ceredwin, though I wouldn't mind if you kept romance IC. I've little interest in romance in most cases, and the same goes for sex.

I'm very open to Discord and Tumblr roleplay, bear in mind I'm on mobile only. My pc is dead. I'm doing work and school during the weekdays, so while I may not respond immediately, I will always respond when I've a chance. I will never ignore any rp, friend, or so on. Gold Saucer RP

Hey there! So, I'm making this on a Friday again, I realize (blame the ADHD) - but I'm here to say that I'll be out at the Saucer on Saturday evening again! Saturdays are when they do the big lotto pull, so it makes a good IC reason to be loitering around on that evening in particular.

As before, I'm suggesting Wonder Square (West) as a place to loiter since the Wonder Square seems to be the area least populated by people just in the Saucer for PVE stuff - though realistically, I imagine the bar area as the meet-up kind of area, but encourage people to meet and mingle anywhere in the Saucer they want to... I just miss open world RP and keep thinking it would be nice to see the Saucer more alive sometimes!

There are no hard rules (besides the obvious), no hard start/end time, no expectations - if you want to RP as a bartender, or one of the Saucer's staff, that's also fine! There's a bar nearby, if your OC is a drinker - but it's not a bar-type event, so if your OC isn't a social drinker... no problem! People of all kinds go to casinos! (And don't forget to buy your lotto tickets/take an MGP booster before the draw - it happens at 9pm(CST) for me!)

Time: Anytime past... let's say 6pm (CST)? (Again - you cannot be 'late', as there is no set time! I just want people to have a loose time in mind past which to expect others.)
