These funds will go toward paying an artist to do the cover art and editors to help make the story as polished as possible. Publishing will be through Amazon or Michelkin Publishing. I just want to make sure I'm paying everybody what their work is worth.

Hey, guys, gals, and non-binary pals (in the words of @thatsthat24), this is the link for my novel fundraiser, which I am working on right now. I will be selling the novel on Amazon, but I still need to pay for editors and I’m talking with an artist to work out a price for a commissioned cover art (somebody you may know, but nothing is settled so I won’t name them until they give the okay) and I’m way behind on it. I have most of the writing done (I’m just expanding on my college senior project) but I don’t have the proper funds to pay anybody just yet and I don’t want to ask anybody to do anything for me before I have the money because that would not be fair.

SO please, if you can donate and/or want to support this project, please do. Every dollar counts. If you cannot donate, PLEASE share this link anywhere and everywhere. PLEASE REBLOG. It’s very important that you reblog this so that it gets attention and I can pay these people what they deserve and get everything done by the end of the year.

My novel is about eight kids living in an LGBTQ Foster Home in NYC and was inspired by many things, include the RepresentationMatters movement, which is very near and dear to my heart. I actually recently donated to @lgbtfans and got my own shirt (which I love btw).

The novel is called “Tales From White House” and you can find more info on it from this fundraiser page and on my blog (I’m going to create a separate Tumblr for it, and link it on my main blog). These characters have been taking up residence in my mind for two years now and I really think you’re going to like them.

I’m doing my best to raise as much money as I can by myself but recent expenses came up and now I’m back down to zero in my own personal finances.
