A Christmas Plea for LGBTQ+ Refugees in sudan 🏳️🌈
I’m writing as a representative of a community of over 400 LGBTQ+ refugees in Sudan.
Being queer here is criminalized. This means no access to jobs, no safety, limited healthcare, and constant fear of violence. Many in this community struggle daily with hunger, unsafe shelter, and trauma simply for existing.
This Christmas, the community is hoping to share a small holiday meal something that happens only once a year, but brings rare moments of dignity, joy, and togetherness in the middle of hardship.
If you’re able to help by donating, sharing this post, or creating awareness (including short videos on platforms like TikTok), it would mean everything. Even reblogs help amplify voices that are often silenced.
Please stand with LGBTQ+ refugees. Visibility saves lives.
