hi hello, there's gonna be quite a bit on this post, but i want to start off by apologizing for being so spotty this past month!!! i'm so sorry!!! :( tl;dr Things Happened irl, let's just,, leave it at that,,,, but it looks like things will be clearing up soon, so i have my fingers crossed!

i've been prioritizing event threads these past two weeks, but since i think i've got most requirements complied with, i'll start working on the general replies i owe!! thank u so much for your patience!!! i can't wait to write with you ;;

---------- dalgona coffee, anyone? 

     while jiho would never usually call himself a trendsetter, he also didn’t regularly call himself a trend follower. so it’s funny to him that it was his idea to do this for the next vlive they had. it had half stemmed from having tried dalgona coffee at a cafe recently and half from @lgcharu mentioning that he might do something about learning to cook for the new year, new experiences prompt they had received. he had watched most of the vlives that were posted on the company channel—to keep an eye on the competition as well as whoever he might end up debuting with, obviously—and thought this would be a fun idea. 

     it’s easy to get some instant coffee and milk from the nearby convenience store, and also get two bowls and whisks and spoons and cups and other things from the emart down the street from his school before heading into legacy that day. he’s also nicked the instant kettle from the dorms—hopefully no one would need it for the bit that he had it at the company. 

     with everything set up, he just needed a table and haru. all set. 

     “ready?” he asks the younger trainee, flicking the switch for the hot water kettle so it would boil as they started the vlive. he glanced at the staff, nodding to show that they were ready once he had poured the instant coffee and sugar into the bowls, having measured out the 1:1:1 ratio carefully, minus the water, which was boiling. once the staff had given them the okay, he smiles, humming as he waits about thirty to forty seconds for viewers to join before waving at the camera. 

     “hi everyone!” he greets happily, nudging haru to do his own greeting and there’s a grin on his face. he has his own phone propped up between the two of them on a little stand so they could read comments. “me and haru are here today to make dalgona coffee. i’ve been working out and haru wants to learn to cook, so we thought we might hit two birds with one stone today by doing this!”

VLIVE PROMPT 003.

with another new trimester, we have a new vlive prompt !

this trimester, the company has given the trainees the opportunity to pair up with a SAME GENDER TRAINEE to film a LIVE VLIVE !!! this means that trainees will be able to see comments and react to them. however, the vlive will be filmed AT THE COMPANY with staff present behind the camera monitoring everything, including comments.

each trainee will get up to THIRTY minutes to show whatever they’d like to as long as its within the scope of the four walls of legacy. if a staff feels that rules have been broken in the vlive, they will shut down the vlive immediately.

to receive +4 SKILL POINTS IN VARIETY and +2 NOTORIETY, write a a 300+ words solo or 4-post thread in the form of a vlive. if rules are broken, a note will be indicated upon the posting of the vlive on the lgcmedia blog that not all THIRTY minutes are aired. 

you will have until 01 july 2020 to meet the requirements and claim your points. the official tag for this event is lgc:thirdvlive.

he really shouldn’t be as excited as he is for simple, thirty-minute long vlive—but he is. nearly a fourth year trainees, he’s spent the whole of his training just practicing—working harder, and sometimes not necessarily smarter—without any real achievements to show for it. and with the past few months being filled with opportunity after opportunity for others, he’s found himself to be so irrevocably bored.

so the vlive, as minuscule as it may seem to others, is almost like a breath of fresh air from him, a break in his usual routine of going to practice then going to work then going to practice then—six days a week, with barely any breaks in-between.

and he’s thankful, surely, that he’s paired up with jaemin, someone who (he thinks) approaches the recording with the same air of nonchalantness as he. and when the cellphone camera’s finally rolling, he’s both too eager and too absorbed in the lego set in front of him to properly form words.

“hello everyone! my name is bae nathan,” he firstly greets in korean, bowing as far as he can in his seat before turning to his side for jaemin’s subsequent introduction.

No one asked Park Seojin to enter the frame singing in full force. No one. Not even the staff restraining a quirk of his eyebrow behind the filming set up. Particularly not BLAZing’s The Boys, but the jokester in him was making itself known more than ever recently and, frankly, he couldn’t help himself. ( Bring the boys out seemed rather apt for an introduction, in his defense. Although he might have exposed himself as being a big fan of the girl group more than intended in the past year. )

In the same tune, he gestured to Hyuk who was still seemingly preparing something off the frame. “B-bring the guitar out.” Perhaps it was his intention to embarrass the younger trainee a little bit like one would do toward a younger sibling. And as many knew, he had infinite experience in that field particular.

When the other finally entered the frame, Seojin offered him a close-lipped smile and scootched his chair over to give him enough room to fit in the frame. Putting him in the spotlight as much as possible was on his mind. He couldn’t bear to take up too much of the attention. Hyuk possessed a lot of talent, and, dare he say, he wanted to show off to people just how skilled he was.

“I think there’s a lot of people here now. We’re gonna be doing some covers today. It’s Park Seojin and…ㅡ” Seojin nudged Hyuk with the back of his hand to encourage him to go next.

a vlive was always an exciting event to experience:  not only did they get the chance to showcase something of their own choice, they also had the great opportunity to interact with fans and grow their fanbase simultaneously.  having teamed up with her good friend mina this time,  she just knew it was bound to get fun, seeing as their chemistry had improved heaps after a certain incident.

she tossed a smile at the girl beside her first,  then straight to the camera in front of them.  “thank you so much for tuning in to our vlive,  everyone!”  a jolly greeting to the viewers accompanied by a slight tilt of her head and that subtle narrow of eyes when her cheeks pushed further up.  there was a laptop perched up with the screen ready to play legacy girl’s dundun mv.  

“this is ahri and,”  a brief pause to let mina introduce herself,  “we’ll be reacting to the stunning mvs from our legacy boys and girls i hope you all have been streaming.” the brunette continued, reading a couple of comments that trickled into the chat section one by one.

he really shouldn’t like competing as much as he does—but he can’t help it. there’s something about it: the thrill, maybe, or rather the sweet, sweet victory that keeps him addicted and begging for more—and the fact that today, he has to chance to quite literally crush his opponent has his adrenaline pumping and his excitement peaking.

taesung’s wearing a muscle tee that subtly (but not really) highlights his biceps, accessorizing with tacky sports wristbands and a matching headband. he looks ridiculous, surely, but he’s hopeful that his attire will match the occasion (and serve as an intriguing enough thumbnail to rake in more views).

introductions with his vlive partner are kept brief when the staff hurries them to start, and soon, he’s jogging in place—melodramatically wiping imaginary sweat off his forehead, stopping every now and then to fake boxing jabs towards the camera. “hey guys! i’m taesung, and for our vlive today, can you guess what we’re doing based off what i’m wearing,” he introduces firstly, glancing to his side while posing his next question for hyunseok.

Not going to lie, Jaehwa rarely has rivals. Her competitive nature makes sure she’s great in all areas with nothing to lack. There is this one person who finds her a burden and that’s Dana. Even though Jaehwa’s dancing skill is fairly good, she still falls behind when the other is her competition. Likewise, Jaehwa’s better in singing while Dana isn’t. Hence whenever these two competitive girls sees each other, the air will always be tense. 

So when they have to do a vlive session together, disagreements were commonly exchanged before they settle with the idea of going on a virtual world where they use their English speaking skills to surprise the other users. Jaehwa prepares the camera and sets up the laptop. With the help of the crew, she manages to get a good quality headset and microphone too. 

The girl looks at the other, giving her a look of disdain before turning back to the camera. “This is a live session. You better keep your claws to yourself.”
