of course, there had been a few line up changes. jasper had tried to make sure everyone else kept their spirits up, even with everything that was going on. regardless of if people wanted to stay or not(or i f they had gotten.. other circumstances), he had to make sure the ones that were staying still were on their ps and qs.
with that being said though, the blast from the past he got when he realized hyuk would be joining them has him chuckling a bit to himself. they both had history with each other, and it seemed to be fate that they were now in the same group.
he was being more of a leader, than anything, as he slowly moves to stand in the doorway of the kitchen, a brow raised as he offers a smirk. "well. how are you settling in so far?"
Time was ticking, the night was vanishing and he still had so many candies left, yikes!

Cupidyoon fully intended to ship Tee (@lgctee) with another V&A member, but decided the Jintee fangirls were way too scary to mess with. Tee got his soda candy first and Cupid took his sweet time walking around before finally dropping the matching one in Jinseo (@lgcjinseo)'s palm. The patience couple, he shall call this ship, because it was sailing at the speed of molasses. At this point, Seyoon might end up with four kids before these two even get any.
Seyoon noticed some sort of tension between Minkyu (@lgcminkyu) and Jihan (@lgcjihan). He figured any tension could be good tension and sometimes a little resentment made better sex. Regular cherry flavored candies went to this couple - just make up already!
The blueberry candy in his hand was reserved for Seunghyun's match but honestly, Seyoon was struggling. Seunghyun (@shxlgc) was his childhood friend, occasional enemy and an annoying twat. Nobody really deserved Seunghyun, take that sentence however you would like. So with a grin, Cupid approached his dear Mushushu with both blueberry candies in hand. He slipped them into Seunghyun's pocket with a wink. "I am sure you would rather take care of yourself." Hey, at least he didn't say the F word out loud.
One party boy deserved another and Seyoon simply knew Hyuk (@lgchyuk) and Haneul (@lgchxneul) would have fun together. In fact, he might want to join them. For partying, of course. Pineapple flavored candy for them, Seyoon's precious dance all night ship.
Now, what about Maylin (@lgcmaylin), dear Maylin. She hated most guys, didn't she? Seyoon handed her a peppermint candy because she spicy and looked around for her perfect match. Oh, maybe Eunwoo (@lgceunwoo)! The guy was hot and pretty quiet from what Seyoon remembered. If a man didn't talk much, he had less chance of saying the wrong thing, perfect!
Seyoon was pretty certain Max (@lgcxmax) was already dating a dude, but real life boyfriends didn't count for this Halloween game. After some contemplation, he decided to match Max with Kai (@lgckai) and came up with a whole dramatic story about two hardworking trainees, constantly stuck in evaluations together. Slowly developing feelings, stealing looks across the room and...Yes, it could be fun with their grape flavored candy.

Seyoon tossed Rowon (@rowonlgc)'s black cherry into the air and caught it back in his hand. Oh Rowon, this one was so very tricky.
So focused on his thoughts, he nearly ran into Soyoun (@lgcsoyoun). "Ah, I am sorry." He bowed his head like a good lil trainee but slipped the idol a light pink candy he believed to be cherry-blossom flavored. One of the more unique ones he'd gotten. The matching one he'd given to Ichika (@lgcichika) onee-sama earlier. Certain fanfics may have changed his favorite ships forever. Long live Ichiastrid.
His basket was nearly empty and the last couple to be matched with Hanie (@lgchanie) and Hyun (@lgchyun). They were both young, cute and could make an adorable puppy pair with their vanilla-flavored candy. In fact, if those two ever debut together, he might ship it.
another day of practice, another day of long hours trying to cram as many steps and lyrics into his brain while simultaneously working towards a potential debut that could easily be taken from him if people caught wind of it.
while he usually enjoyed practicing in groups, max was glad for every moment alone he had right now. he despised keeping secrets, being one of the worst liars known to mankind. so arriving to practice early before the rest of the guys would filter in, he decided to get a head start on the choreography, entering the practice room to see wook- wook?!
the door slapped him straight back in the face as he stopped dead shocked in his tracks rather than walking through, resulting in a rather loud bang, followed by a disgruntled curse.
No one asked Park Seojin to enter the frame singing in full force. No one. Not even the staff restraining a quirk of his eyebrow behind the filming set up. Particularly not BLAZing’s The Boys, but the jokester in him was making itself known more than ever recently and, frankly, he couldn’t help himself. ( Bring the boys out seemed rather apt for an introduction, in his defense. Although he might have exposed himself as being a big fan of the girl group more than intended in the past year. )
In the same tune, he gestured to Hyuk who was still seemingly preparing something off the frame. “B-bring the guitar out.” Perhaps it was his intention to embarrass the younger trainee a little bit like one would do toward a younger sibling. And as many knew, he had infinite experience in that field particular.
When the other finally entered the frame, Seojin offered him a close-lipped smile and scootched his chair over to give him enough room to fit in the frame. Putting him in the spotlight as much as possible was on his mind. He couldn’t bear to take up too much of the attention. Hyuk possessed a lot of talent, and, dare he say, he wanted to show off to people just how skilled he was.
“I think there’s a lot of people here now. We’re gonna be doing some covers today. It’s Park Seojin and…ㅡ” Seojin nudged Hyuk with the back of his hand to encourage him to go next.
“minhyuk-ah!” the call from the older cousin of the two boys carried far as he searched for him in the halls of the private practice rooms. though truth be told where he had to look wasn’t hard at all. it was pretty obvious where the younger would be and after a quick peek in the window of one of the music rooms, jaemin opened the door obtrusively with a grin. “there you are. i was looking all over for you.” it was always good for jaemin to see family and when he had a few family members present right within the walls of legacy, he flocked to them each chance he was able to. it’d been a bit since he got to mess with minhyuk and now seemed like a good opportunity to do so. he’d even brought a peace offering.
he turned the treats over in his hand and read off each wrapper as he made his way in to take a seat opposite the other. “chocolate or strawberry?” the ice cream treats were offered, one in each hand, and he was perfectly content to take either as he left it up to the younger. after the selection was made, he worked at his wrapper to open his own and struck up the hot button topic of the moment it seemed to be: the casting call. “so are you going to make it official, huh? you going to join lgc music and take over the indie charts? the casting call doesn’t have much longer left now, right?”
