what are your muse’s current goals and motivations? yushin’s goal is to ensure that he improves in every aspect of his current position in agito and continue his growth, no matter which direction it brings him in. he means his in both performance and chemistry with the other members, especially his roommate and dormmates. he doesn’t have any plans to continue in acting, but does wish to remain relevant in vna and continue to become a better rapper, despite also loving singing. he doesn’t mind giving up lines if it means the proper balance from the producer standpoint with all the other members. yushin would like more commercials if he can nab anymore of those, in order to bring get more brand recognition for agito and himself. being in agito despite not going through future dreams is more than what he could ask for, after his short-lived musical acting career.  do you think your muse has accomplished any of their goals mentioned above? if so, how did they do it? if not, what do you think could help them accomplish that goal? continuing to practice, especially in areas where he’s lacking in the group. he believes he’s currently the worst dancer out of them all, so he does want to improve on that aspect, and improve on his performance and image. its a slow progression but everyday of more hours put into practice is helping every day.  also, in the beginning he might not have known all the members of vna as much as he’d like, other than a handful of the boys, but in his time with haru and jiho, especially jiho, they’ve became better friends throughout their time during pre-debut. granted, he already knew shinha very well, it was pleasant to have a friend prior to the conception of the group even though yushin knows it wouldn’t be too difficult to get immersed into the dynamics of the group. thankfully, they get along for the most part. other than when there’s a surprise bug that shows up in their dorms, or something like that...  describe one significant memory that has happened to your muse during this trimester (positive or negative). yushin thinks this trimester has been the biggest change for him. the career change definitely spun him into a world where he was completely doubtful of himself, and unsure if that’s what he wanted to do. there was a part of him that said forego the singing, and just go into acting, but the truth is being a musical acting was so diverse, and he loved both the acting, but moreso the singing and performing part of musical acting. without the singing, it felt.... wrong. no offense to the traditional actor, but that’s just not his style. when the opportunity came from the company for him to be considered for the lineup of a new group, yushin leapt at the chance, and it went from being one of the lowest lows in his career thus far, to the peak.  what is one thing you (as the mun) have learned about your muse throughout this trimester? i’ve learned that i’m really attached to him?! after my up & downs with my muses, and yushin being the only one at one point that i had, especially while writing this today, i’m truly glad i kept him as my muse, because despite losing the musical acting route, i didn’t know what was coming for him, even if it meant doing more trainee missions. i’ve learned more about him and i’m trying to get more social with plotting with people (when i’m not busy being.. busy. sorry in advance.) i’ve learned yushin is pretty adaptable because i never foresaw him getting into a group or becoming a rapper, but in the end, that’s exactly what happened so....! here we go.

|| Q4: Character Update ||                              || A Playlist of Choi Hyunwoo ||

Choi Hyunwoo is a gamer through and through. His parents send him an allowance which often ends up being spent on snacks, sweet drinks and video games. At first sight, the boy is sloppily dressed, constantly half asleep and someone with zero energy. But looking closer, Hyunwoo radiates a powerful aura of an heir to two huge fortunes, his sloppy clothes designer and his energy saved for when he really needs to shine and show off his rapping skills. 

Song #1: Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Soundtrack – Brian Tyler

Hyunwoo is a gamer through and through, so his playlist kicks off with his personal favorite game: Assassin’s Creed. He loves the 2013 release Black Flag since it hits all the things he likes about video games: the open world action-based sleuthing and the appeal of pirate assassins during the Golden Age of Piracy.  He prefers Black Flag to other Assassin’s Creed games simply because he really likes the idea of captaining a ship and going off mission script to explore the surrounding areas. Often the soundtrack of Black Flag can be heard in his ear buds while he’s working on his dancing or he’s working out. The high energy of the game can fuel him for a few days.  {120 words}

Song #2: Castlevania Theme – Michiru Yamane, Jun Irie

Hyunwoo has a love for Castlevania. Again, keeping in line with his love for action-adventure games, Castlevania holds a special place in Hyunwoo’s heart, since it was one of the first games he’d ever been gifted. His very first video game was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It had been a gift to him when he’d turned 5 and that one game turned him down the path of the action-adventure games. Symphony of Darkness was also the game that led to his love of Alucard. Since then, Hyunwoo has collected all games of Castlevania when he turned seventeen.  He’s also watched the series as well and even dressed up as Alucard multiple years in a row. Even nowadays, Castlevania remains a comfort game and he’s always playing it in moments of stress to relax. {134 words}

Song #3: Burn Butcher Burn – Joseph Trapanese and Joey Batey  

Netflix’s The Witcher is an almost perfect adaptation of the games, in Hyunwoo’s opinion. He’d argue that it’s even up there with Castlevania, but that is beside the point. When the first season came out, Hyunwoo could be heard humming Toss a Coin to Your Witcher when he streamed and played with friends and of course, the first season song sits lower In his playlist. The second season though, albeit in Hyunwoo’s opinion, kind of trash, still gave him yet another song to hum on repeat. Passing by the training rooms at legacy entertainment, some could hear him sing Burn Butcher Burn despite being a rapper. He will deny that he sings but in video games, lately, while he’s playing with his best friends, he will hum the song in horror games just to make the ghosts chase after them. He likes doing this in Phasmophobia. {146 words}

Song #4: Wrath of Monoceros Caeli – Yu-Peng Chen, HOYO-MiX

In Hyunwoo’s playlist, one can find a lot of the Genshin Impact songs. The first one that one will spot is Childe’s third phase battle music. Partially, it’s because Hyunwoo is a Childe main and has whaled on all three banners to attain a c6 character and the refinement rank 5 of the signature bow. Mostly, it’s because the song is an absolute banger and has no business going so hard. Wrath often plays in his ear buds when he’s working out (along with Black Flag) or when he’s running errands like getting snacks, getting presents for the best girl in his life or just out being a menace when he’s not training. Since he’s unemployed and doesn’t attend school, that gives him a lot of free time to play Genshin.  {131 words}

Song #5: Rap God – Eminem

Despite being an obsessive otaku and gamer with self described depraved cat girl dreams, the young man is still a rapper and that had been the second love after video games. He really enjoys Eminem and Tiger JK and both artists have many songs on his usual playlist. He likes to try emulate Eminem’s speed and Tiger Jk’s style so it all mashes together in his own unique vibes. He’s been learning the speed from Rap God and that one part that just goes hyperspeed. He wants to be known as the speed rapper with style so he’s been listing to Rap  God to make sure that he can do speed well without mistakes. {114 words}

Song #6: Contemplation in Snow – Yu-Peng Chen, HOYO-MiX

The second Genshin song that is in Hyunwoo’s playlist is a surprise to almost no one. Partially the song reminds him of his family who are both always travelling but more importantly, it reminds that he’s got friends who care for him and are there even his family is not. Especially the best girl in his life, Miki ( @lgcxmiyeon ). He’d never admit that there’s more than friendship there, but he adores her to bits and pieces. And who would they be but Hyunwoo and Miki, with their 2d waifus and husbandos outside of the entertainment world? Hyunwoo thinks it’s nice to have someone like Miki in his life and he wouldn’t trade their friendship for the world. Otherwise, who else would play video games with him? {125 words}

character update.

what are your muse’s current goals and motivations?

jisoo wants to be able to balance his studies along with a career that he can see himself doing in the future. he’s a bit unsure of himself, but knows that he doesn’t have what it takes to become an idol, and sometimes doubts himself for getting into the company. but he knows being an idol isn’t the only thing he can do at lgc, which is a saving grace. for awhile he pondered acting or modelling, but doesn’t think he’s the best when it comes to ‘getting into a role’ beyond something shorter, and less committal like a commercial. at this point, he wants to eventually get into modelling.

do you think your muse has accomplished any of their goals mentioned above? if so, how did they do it? if not, what do you think could help them accomplish that goal?

not yet -  he has not quite gotten himself any commercials yet, or any gigs, but he’s been practicing behind the scenes. even if that means reciting things into a mirror (as if he was in the sims, oh lord what is happening-) and keeping up with latest fashion and whatnot. nabi and keeho helps with the fashion aspect, because sometimes they’ll point out what’s trendy or looking good. he’s found himself looking more into fashion blogs, and keeping up with labels, and pronunciations because heaven forbid he pronounce the labels name wrong. that is nightmare fuel. as for studying, well. he just has to stop procrastinating. 

describe one significant memory that has happened to your muse during this trimester (positive or negative).

following future dreams, and realizing that he could never put himself through that. jisoo watched what all the members went through every single trimester, since he’s joined the company, and never once had the inkling to even try to join. it isn’t part of his blood. he doesn’t have that desire, and competitiveness, and frankly, jisoo doesn’t think he’d ever be good enough to debut, and would probably be one of the trainees that eventually disappeared into the background and quit to work at a stall. it sounds blunt, but it’s the reality of what happens to a lot of trainees. 

what is one thing you (as the mun) have learned about your muse throughout this trimester?

granted, jisoo is still pretty new of a muse, and a completely brand new one (aka not recycled from this rp or another rp...)  i genuinely enjoy putting someone on his modelling path, whilst not necessarily being the most passionate about it, but trying to get real about balancing schooling & a potential career because that is something new that has happened to my life in too. i’m excited to see where he’ll go because again, he’s so brand new and i’ve always wanted someone down the modelling path eventually \o / i am trying to gauge see-saw between not necessarily having passion, and being unsure of himself which is something i am sure people do struggle with, and it’s a contrast to the types that are completely sure about where they want to go in the future, which has never been jisoo’s thing.

|| Q4: Character Update ||                || A Playlist of Seo Minseok || 

Minseok spends a lot of his time at the bar where he works, so the club music has influenced his taste in music. If someone were to look at his most used playlist, they would see some rock-n-roll, some pop, a lot of dance and lo fi and some instrumentals. The instrumentals keep him calm and help him relax and the dance/lo-fi hits pump his energy up for work and when he’s behind the bar, pulling tricks, that is where he feels most relaxed.

Song #1: Piece of Your Heart - Meduza, Goodboys 

When Minseok is at work, tending the bar at the club during the late evening, the backgorund music to his tricks is often dance hits. Piece of Your Heart is mellow dance hit that just lets Minseok mellow out to it while he works. It’s like going back in time. Piece of Your Heart occasionally comes on in the shuffle when the young man gets home after a busy and long day of training. The relaxed beats of the song bring him back to his days in SNU as an engineering student when everything was slightly calmer. When at home, the song blares quietly in the background as Minseok mixes himself drinks and takes a moment to just zone out and take a break from everything.  {126 words} 

Song #2: Howl’s Moving Castle (Merry-Go-Round of Life) - Lofi Mix - Kato (originally Joe Hisaishi) 

He’s always loved Studio Ghibli movies. The Hayao Miyazaki classics bring him to tears, to laughter and joy and Howl’s Moving Castle is no exception. It has always been a comfort movie, being rewatched in moments of high stress and anxiety. Recently, Minseok had spent his evenings when he wasn’t working or training in the workshops assigned to him as punishments, rewatching the movie to ease the stress weighing down on him. Often he’d end up falling asleep to a lofi mix of the main theme or the regular version of theme. Regardless, he’s got all possible versions of Merry Go Round of Life in his playlist. {107 words} 

Song #3: the World - Nightmare 

A bit of rock in Minseok’s playlist, Nightmare is a rather different albeit unexpected vibe for the actor. He’s not into the whole anime/otaku side of things but does appreciate the aesthetic and work it takes into costumes. the world, however while being the opening song of death note, reminds minseok of the fragility of future plans. That everything can just fall apart and become a dream. He also really likes the idea behind the Death Note manga/anime. But of course, he’s still more into the rock aesthetics of the visual kei group and ends up listening to the world when he’s cleaning at home or when he’s helping close up at the end of a busy night. There’s nothing like being reminded of your own future failed plans at four in the morning. Depression.  {135 words}

Song #4: King Arthur Orchestra Suite - Hans Zimmer 

Well, this wouldn’t be a Minseok playlist without a nod to his dungeons and dragons addiction. DnD for Minseok was not only a way of life during his engineering courses, but also a way to have made some really great friends. They all still get together at least once a month to play a few hours of DnD. Minseok has single handedly derailed campaigns, but on the days that they play, Minseok doesn’t work and their sessions go from mid evening to early morning hours. His vlive show, DnD Basics, attempted to introduce the magic of the role playing game to everyone around him but of course, it didn’t end well. Sure, that didn’t mean that the young man would have given up on his DnD, and it just pushed him back into the campaigns with his university friends. Currently, they have been playing once every week and Minseok feels more at ease with his friends. {156 words} 

Song #5: Bad Habits - Ed Sheeran 

Minseok has his bad habits and vices. He keeps them hidden from those who do not know him well and those who aren’t his friends. To everyone, he’s the perfect young man. The ideal boyfriend type. But he struggles with feeling insecure and not good enough so of course, he lapses into the bad habits of his like drinking (since he’s a bartender, he has a collection of various alcohol and syrups and mixers in his house that he keeps in the fridge and in the kitchen cabinet next to all the fancy glasses) and the occasional cigarette. He doesn’t smoke anymore and rather ends up drinking himself out of his depression. {112 words}

Song #6: Mammamia - Maneskin 

Minseok likes sex. It’s no big secret.  He’s dated before, he’s had one night stands before. Currently, there’s only one serious partner but they have a mutual understanding of friends with  benefits. There is no strings attached at the moment. That doesn’t stop Minseok from catching feelings. Mammamia reminds him that he really shouldn’t and so he keeps it casual. It’s all supposed to be a secret so it’s better for them both. Friends with benefits. That is all. Also this is more nods to his love of rock music. Maneskin and Italian rock just tends to hit a bit different than his usual hits on classic rock. Further down in the playlist, there’s more Maneskin like “Begging” and “I wanna be your slave” mixed in with more classics like Guns n Roses, Kiss or Aerosmith. {136 words}

what are your muse’s current goals and motivations? ( wc 121 )

keeho join legacy with one goal and it has yet change; to debut as an idol. although he has other goals in mind, his primary goal is to debut. all secondary goals will potentially come along after that has been accomplished. these goals would be working as a model or be on a variety show. 

though it hard to be so far away from home, keeho keeps pushing forward with the support from his family. he didnt travel all the way to korea and give up his precious american lifestyle just to give up. and fly back home to start over. beside he had made friends with a lot of great people within legacy that he doesn’t want to leave them.

do you think your muse has accomplished any of their goals mentioned above? ( wc 112 )

keeho would saying that being on dream team would probably be the first step in potentially getting the opportunity to be on more variety shows. it was a great start but it made his hunger to be more of them. as for his debut to debut as an idol he is still working towards it. with the daily training schedule he’s starting to understand that he needs to be more serious in the practice room. there could be a chance that the coaches still see him as an immature little kid that goofs off during practice but he does it to keep himself hype. otherwise he would be stressed out and bored.

as an idol, keeho did not accomplish his goal. he is still working on the schedule that is given to him but he doesn’t go out of his way to put in the extra work that maybe more trainee does. he still believe in hanging out with friends and that trainee life comes second. as a new year resolution keeho wants to try and put in the extra efforts. 

getting the chance to be on a variety show he would say that it was accomplished because of his time on dream team. dream team was a lot of fun and he enjoy watching himself. he enjoy the outside usualy dance, singing and rapping. it was a nice break that he needed before jumping back into the trainee schedule and working towards his primary goal.

a significant for keeho would be the chance to participate in dream team. this brought back a lot of good and fun memory whenever he thinks about it or rewatch the show. he enjoy being on variety shows that requires or gives him the opportunity to show off his athletic side. keeho grew up loving sport ( football and basketball mostly ). being on dream team reminded him how much he enjoy sports and how he needed to go back to the gym or a hoop more. it also gave him the chance to meet  more trainee in the company that he had yet to meet.

what is one thing you (as the mun) have learned about your muse throughout this trimester? ( wc 147 )

surprisingly I thought that when I brought in keeho he would be a stable character that wouldn’t surprise me in any way. keeho is a very playful person which is why he is also a hype man when it comes to his friends. he goofs off so that his friends dont feel too sad or upset. he believes that life is too short to be sad about something that might not matter in the long run. when he sees someone that is upset, he tends to push his feelings aside and attend to their needs. i admire this quality in him but i also feel like this allows for character development. where he can learn to put himself first sometimes instead of always feeling like he needs to cheer up or hype up his friends. it will nice to see him make sure that he is happy.

♰ CHARACTER UPDATE Q4 ‘21 ♰

what are your muse’s current goals and motivations?

Shinha’s current goals and motivations revolve around V&A and his new career as an idol. He has worked hard to get to where he is now and he does not want to lose it. He’ll do whatever he can and whatever it takes to stay on the path he’s on right now. Since he’s finally achieved his goal of debuting as an idol, Shinha’s next step is to re-debut as an actor. He left his acting career when he was in high school and he misses it at times. His plan was to always return to acting and so that’s what he’s working towards next.

do you think your muse has accomplished any of their goals mentioned above? if so, how did they do it? if not, what do you think could help them accomplish that goal?

Shinha has finally achieved his goal of debuting as an idol and he did it through hard work as mentioned. He fought through a lot to get to where he is now. The biggest step for him was signing up for Future Dreams. It took a lot of courage and encouragement from his boyfriend before he finally decided to sign up. The show was hard and intense and there were often times he’d thought of giving up but he stuck through it to finally make it to the finals. When the announcement came that he’d made it, Shinha couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He then worked even harder to prepare for V&A’s debut.

describe one significant memory that has happened to your muse during this trimester (positive or negative).

Two major things have happened to Shinha this trimester. One has already been mentioned which is the fact that he finally made his debut. The other major memory is his relationship with Minjun and how it ended. He’d never thought or expected to lose Minjun and when he did it almost killed him. He understood why Minjun left Legacy and supported him in his decision, but he lost his boyfriend by doing so. It wasn’t an easy decision for them both to end their relationship but they felt like it was the right decision at the time. Shinha has just debuted and Minjun was worried about them being discovered. Shinha was also worried about Minjun in return and so they felt like a break for the moment would be best for them.

what is one thing you (as the mun) have learned about your muse throughout this trimester?

I’ve learned how resilient and strong Shinha is. I’m also discovering more about him as his mun every time I write for him. Shinha has definitely changed a lot since we first joined Legacy and this trimester was really the one that was the biggest for both Shinha as a muse and myself as his mun. He’s stronger than he seems and he knows how to support others when needed, even through his own anxieties and worries. Shinha is a ball of fluff who can be a bit much at times, but deep down all he wants is to take care of everyone. He’s the least popular member of Agito and he knows it but he tries not to let it get him down which is what I love about him.

without a doubt, danbi’s first (semi-)solo release is her most listened to song for the year! to some, it might be weird to stream your own song so many times, but this is the first time she’s ever ventured beyond the ‘rapper’ image she initially portrayed during the first season of ‘future dreams’, and a monumental step towards the artist she’s always dreamed of becoming. sober is a feel-good, r&b track that’s widely different from that of the discography of lgc girls & co., and its sound perfectly encapsulates her charming maturity and previously-overlooked vocals—she just can’t get enough of it!

if it wasn’t obvious already, danbi’s actually a pretty big r&b fan—maybe it’s a mix of some sort of occupational hazard and her age that she’s grown less and less fond of listening to mainstream pop in her free time; it reminds her too much of training and practice, plus, she’s at the point of her life where’s she sentimental so zombie pop allows her to reminisce on simpler days and, as the lyrics suggest, makes her want to dance. the track’s in english (and fairly short), so she doesn’t understand entirely what the song’s meaning is, but it’s still good, regardless.

aside from how obviously-addicting d.o’s and wonstein’s vocals are individually and together, i’m gonna love you symbolizes a lot of how danbi currently views love. she’s still navigating a lot of what it means to be a ‘girlfriend’, and especially with so little time to actually invest in her current (and first ever) relationship, she’s unsure to properly show her care and affection to @lgcjaesun. despite dating for a year and a half already, she still has these doubts, and yet, at the end of the day, she’s just going to love (like?) him as naturally and as best as she currently can.

this year was rough—in more ways than one. going into her sixth year of training, danbi was battling a lot of insecurity and self-doubt about whether or not she’d chosen the right path for herself; a fourth of her life thus far had been spent as a trainee, and she’d be lying if she said she was completely happy with where she was in her career for most of the year. whenever she felt an urge for self-reflection (which was a lot, trust me), she’d turn my sea on, pity herself, cry, go train, and do it all over again.

even though her boyfriend is in versus, danbi definitely considers agito the superior v&a unit. blue hour is just so fucking fun; it’s actually crazy how addicting it is, and she’d still have this song on repeat even without jiho and haru, two of her favorite boys, singing it (though, they definitely make it better). she immediately learned the song’s choreography, and you can bet she’ll be covering this song as much as possible once she debuts. blue hour definitely ranks high in her mental list of ‘best debut songs of all-time’, and she can only hope that crystallis’ eventual debut track can be as good, if not better.

Q:     WHAT ARE YOUR MUSE’S CURRENT GOALS AND MOTIVATIONS?

as stated in the last update, v&a’s success has been at the forefront of subin’s mind along with some longterm goals of making his mark in the industry.  he does miss school quite a lot, especially now that jake has left legacy to study mathematics  -  it makes him think of the road that he could have taken if he hadn’t chosen entertainment.  however, there is no time for regret, only moving forward  -  he is one step closer to considering reapplying for school in about a year’s time, but his next goal is to nab a lead or main role in a drama to better make his mark as an idol actor for a possible future in acting after his career as an idol ends.

Q:     DO YOU THINK YOUR MUSE HAS ACCOMPLISHED ANY OF THEIR GOALS MENTIONED ABOVE? IF SO, HOW DID THEY DO IT? IF NOT, WHAT DO YOU THINK COULD HELP THEM ACCOMPLISH THEIR GOAL?

it’s true that v&a can be considered successful now that they’ve won rookie of the year, but subin is a competitive brat who always wants more and to prove himself more.  with the help of his groupmates with both solo and group activities, they won this together.  and considering the fact that subin has won a successful supporting role in a historical drama, which are well known to be very difficult dramas to portray, he thinks that perhaps his career might be taking off.  he’s happy that he also gets to continue hosting, being that he was a temporary host for inkigayo for a month and will have an up and coming short term gig soon.

Q:     DESCRIBE ONE SIGNIFICANT MEMORY THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR MUSE DURING THIS TRIMESTER ( POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE. )

jake leaving legacy was a blow to subin in a way that was mostly internalized.  while he fully supports his boyfriend leaving and making himself happy, subin also wants to be able to see him at least for an hour here and there in his busy schedule but now that they’re no longer in the same company, this is a little more difficult.  he’s not planning on breaking up with him though, and will continue to struggle with the balance of a personal life and a career  -  because subin always wants everything, and he isn’t the type to let anything go if he can help it.

Q:     WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ( AS THE MUN ) HAVE LEARNED ABOUT YOUR MUSE THROUGHOUT THIS TRIMESTER?

this trimester hasn’t really led subin down a path where i actually learned more about him as a muse.  i’ve come to appreciate the passion that he has for things though, and his utmost desire to see things through.  the fact that he puts his whole heart into things, no matter what they are and how he gives his heart fully to the people that he’s dating is something that’s sweet about him.  his bitterness at the company is slowly dying down, but no doubt there will be something will make him a salty bitch sometime soon  -  and i will still love him anyway, even if he’s annoying.
