  he recognizes her by her hair. it was what initially caught his eye — her sleek, black hair swirling around her as she glided across the ice, alone, that dark winter night. he remembers calling out to her. mind if i join you? and everything stopped. the wind. the whispers. her hair fell gracefully over her shoulders as their eyes met.

  this time, rowon doesn’t ask. he fills the space to her immediate left, his gaze drawn towards the artwork now in front of them, flowers by santhosh. “anguish,” he says after a thoughtful pause. “that’s what i’m seeing. it’s hugging itself. we only do that when we need comfort.” he motions at the right side. “usually flowers represent beauty and youth, no? but it’s looking backwards, almost like it’s looking into the past. it’s reminiscing about losing its beauty to … presumably old age.” he’s probably wrong, but he didn’t come here to be right. in truth, he’s much more interested in heejin’s interpretation and what it says about how she thinks.

  “they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i’m inclined to disagree. some beauty is objective.” at long last, rowon turns to face her. “you look stunning.”

embrace the luxury. 

Chuseok at the Kang estate is always an event unto itself. While most families celebrate this holiday with warmth, intimacy, and the comfort of homemade traditional meals and sweets, Yoojoon, yet again, finds himself in the midst of a gathering that feels far more like a glitzy red carpet affair than a celebration of ancestral heritage.

The atmosphere is charged with the glittering presence of celebrities and high-profile guests, their laughter and chatter filling the air. Around him, the faces are as superficial as the polite smile he's been wearing since the evening began, a smile so practiced it feels almost carved into his features, uncertain if he'll ever be able to remove it.

But this year, he's grateful not to be completely alone among the actors and VIPs who barely capture his interest. "Are you enjoying yourself?" he asks, his voice low as he leans closer to his companion, a glass of untouched champagne resting in his hand like a mere prop.

"It must be a whole new experience to see so many famous faces up close." He turns his gaze to @lgcheejin, his smile softening into something more sincere, the mask slipping away. "Thank you for coming, by the way," he adds, "That Dior dress looks like it was made just for you."

Taeha clutches her selfie stick with pride as the trainees file out into the hall. Another day, another workshop - but these past few lessons have been more interesting than most. Becoming a vlogger had always been on her bucket list ( along with starting a travel blog focused on rare beauty finds and interviewing celebrities on a red carpet... but those would most likely have to wait until after debut ), so the idea of learning the ins and outs had her practically buzzing with excitement.

"Oh, oh, oh! Heejin!" she beams, swerving through the bustling hallway to catch up to the other with a grin. "How would you like to be my first collaboration!" She wiggles her eyebrows, lowering he stick to capture both of them on her 'self-cam.' "Where are you off to for free training? Mind if I tag along?"

class was over but sarang took some time to linger, waiting for heejin to finish up before she headed over to the girl. most of the students had left the class or already broke off into their own small groups. now she found herself paired with heejin. there was a bit of relief, they were trainee's together and while they didn't talk often, they did know of each other. that helped ease sarang's nerves.

"hey, did you have time after class today...i know we could go to the cafe on campus and figure out what scene we want to do." they had a bit of freedom in that regard, pick a scene from the movie and re-enact it. nothing special about it but that worked well for sarang, with everything going on the company.

tell me about it

cherry was out for a walk, enjoying the summer weather. though having finally joined the acting path, she was still far from a successful and famous actress, so she could still go out without anyone noticing her. she was looking forward to being recognized, but she also wanted to value the time where she wouldn’t get stopped every where she went, of course, she wasn’t actually sure she would ever become a successful actress. she was happy to have joined the acting path though, and hoped for a successful career in the field.

the blonde finds herself thirsty, spotting a café, she decides to use some of the money she should use on furniture on something to drink. knowing cherry, it’ll take a while for her to make her an apartment a home actually anyway. she pushes the door open, it doesn’t seem too busy, and there’s a lot of empty places to sit. she goes up and orders, turns around as she gets her drink and wonders where she should sit. she walks over to an empty table, but on her way she spots something, a familiar face. “heejin?” she asks, tilting her head a bit.
