although yonghwa and him almost ended up in the hospital after king tripped over him ), and the sight of bae siwoo and seo haneul once again having the time of their life pranking them put him in a weirdly happy mood. he felt like mingling with the other trainees, not to mention how incredible it felt to be able to eat pizza and drink soda without having trainers in the back of his mind body shaming him or making him feel guilty for it. bae siwoo always made sure they could get days like this to unwind and enjoy their youth. it's a period that only comes once in a lifetime, and he probably knows that better than everyone from the way he takes care of them during future dreams. if his brothers could be more like this and less, well, evil, maybe king would have turned out a better person.

he spots an empty chair next to a trainee he doesn't know very well. he's seen him hang out at the dorm a few times, though he can't really remember whose friend he is. "can i sit?" king asks the other, though the question doesn't really feel like one as he sits down anyway, putting down his plate and drink to claim the place for good.
