I made another song cover for Pride month! :D

The lake cannot fall asleep on her own, but with a lethal potent enough enchantment from a certain god, she can experience what it is like to rest.

Yeah I turned a doodle into an opportunity to lore thing lmao

I was feeling eepy so I drew Lili eepy, nothing much to note, except maybe the purple blob thing on her head, which is supposed to be Hypnos' hand lol

I have no idea why she ended up kinda looking like a deer btw, I blame fatigue

My vtuber model's reference sheet I made years ago

Not as detailed as I liked it to be, but I'm too lazy to update it lmao, but I'll just tap more about it here.

I also have a mask and cloak which I sometimes put on lol

The clothes are just a combination of stuff that I'd like to wear tbh, and that ended up being shorts, a corset, and a puffy top. I'd have loved to have more dangling bits and accessories, but I had 30 days to rig the entire thing before the trial period ended so... Yeah. :(

Most of the design was already made from when my lore was in its infancy, aka just "Eldritch horror who's also a bard" . The black horns and short blue hair was always part of it from the first concepts tho.

When the lore developed more in my head and was at the "lake Hali who killed the gods", I added the "barely hidden dagger" and the sharp teeth.

It's meant to signify that though she doesn't actively put it on display, Lilianne doesn't really hide the fact that she's a dangerous being either.

For the decorations on the cloak, the left one is supposed to be like a black star in Carcosa, while the one on the right is a symbol of the elder gods.

Meanwhile, this symbol below is Lilianne own personal sigil, which is meant to look like both a stylized (day)lily and a falling star.

I liked these details about the cloak, but other than those, I didn't really like how the cloak turned out, so I don't really have it on very often. Maybe someday, I'll redesign it... I'm not re-riggning anything tho lmao.

The mask has a lot of lore stuff, so I won't be going into much details lol

But the mask combined with the horns was supposed to look like a goat skull, but I realized now that the middle yellow part kinda made me look like a bird instead lmao.

I might change the design of the mask too, just so it's easier to draw for the comic I think.

Tried to design a costume around the Flamboyant and then suddenly got the urge to turn her into a character for my lore lol. I have no plans as to how or even if I should integrate her into the present story, but she certainly exist at least....

Fun fact: I drew most of this while listening to the Magnet remake on loop

She's very much a version of the Maiden from Haïta the shepherd, whose name is not revealed until the end, so uh... Spoilers for the ≈15minutes story!

Once upon a time, the King in Yellow commissioned the finest Divine Craftsmen to create the physical embodiment of what is promised to those truly loyal to him.

The results was a maiden whose beauty shines so bright, space itself bent and warped around her. The maiden, however, was incredibly fragile, one action and the already rotten flesh beneath her porcelain shell would be exposed.

Unlike all the rest of the Court, she does not wear a mask. In fact, The King forbids her from ever hiding it so that she may show anyone what their rewards for faithfully and unquestioningly serving the King was.

When the stars fell and the skies inverted as the lake brought Carcosa to ruins, the maiden, who was named "Happiness" vanished.

The first sketch of my idea↑

The Flamboyant, or Delonix Regia, was a tree heavily associated with student life (and, by extension, youth) in Vietnam, as it starts to bloom towards the end of the school year over here.

They were originally brought from Madagascar and planted in public space by French colonialists in the first few years of their occupation because of how quickly and beautifully it grew.

In recent years, however, it was found that these trees, while outwardly looking fine, were rotting from the inside due to their shorter lifespan and weak roots. This fact is what first sparked the idea of turning this character into someone of the KiY's court, I think.

Why the Maiden named Happiness (or as I've been calling her in my head: Letitia) though? Well, I thought about how much the god Hastur had changed throughout time, though in my lore Hastur is simply another god of TKiY's court, I wondered how the other characters from Ambrose Bierce's story would be like if they were changed and twisted like their god, too. While I still can't really think of anything substantial for Haïta, the idea for Letitia came the moment I started wondering.
