Pettersson’s three childhood best friends got deported back to Armenia when he was about thirteen. This year they finally got their Swedish citizenships. Petey’s brother, Emil, and his brother’s girlfriend, Fanny, surprised him by bringing his friends to Slovakia. They stop play for a sharpened metal blade on the ice. 

They stop play for a skater’s missing helmet. 

They make them tighten their chinstraps. 

They stop play for a goalie that’s down.

They actually make sure a player is okay before they start play back up.

NONE of this is done in the NHL. And that’s so sad.
