I’m so annoyed by this whole Lily and Iain storyline. I was completely invested in them from the start and was over the moon when they got to together. I think this is absolutely poor writing, why do that long build-up for it to be ruined in a few episodes?!?! It’s actually made me dislike casualty a bit because of this. Iain going from complete smitten by Lily to rather going out with his mates instead of Lily?! A complete 360 on his character which has made him seem like a jerk. Makes no sense

YES IKR Iain’s character keeps changing drastically. One minute he’s completely in love with Lily and the next he’s being horrible towards her :( x

Yes, can they please stop with the love triangles? - It’s not original and it always means they have to change the characters personalities completely. I hate what they did with Alicia’s character and how they made her cheating and untrustworthy. :( x

Yeah Crystal is leaving isn't she? I'm sad about that and I'm annoyed at the storyline why they chose to get Iain and Lily together right before they started her exit storyline I don't know we had a year of build up for them to be happy for about 2 eps and the rest have them fighting until they break up, they've also made Sam really unlikable a lot of viewers probably won't know who she is and they've done her character a huge disservice

This whole storyline has been a bit crap tbh.

Why Sam is a paramedic now is just silly and it’s clear the writers only did it to get her closer to Iain. Sam is worth so much more than that and was an amazing doctor. 

Iain showed absolutely no interest towards Sam, and didn’t even like her in the first episode but suddenly now they’re best mates?? Also Sam has had almost no contact with Dylan since being back but surely with their history there should be a bit more friction there??

And Sam was never a jealous or sneaky character before and now the show have just changed her completely to fit their stupid love triangle. Urghhh x

Judging from the episode synopsis I'm guessing Lily's last ep is the 4th Nov really sad to see Crystal leave and with such a poor exit storyline they wasted a year of Lily's screen time on Iain and their flirtation/feelings just to make all the buildup irrelevant in a matter of weeks

I hate that this storyline has taken a turn like this so unbelievably fast!

Within the space of a few weeks, Sam has turned up, Lily and Iain have drifted apart and Lily has applied for a research post abroad. This is just so badly wrapped up and it makes it unrealistic x
