"Every single one of these songs is very very personal that I've just written. They're like extremely close to my relationship, my relationship with substances over the years and different things that led me down the wrong path and how I kinda got away from them. It's very different when you feel like you have something to say whereas before I didn't know myself, I didn't know who the hell I was, I didn't know what I did for fun, I didn't know what I liked to do. So, it's been quite a journey and very therapeutic I would say."

"When I wasn't aware I had really bad ADHD, I found the problem to be - Whenever I was in the studio with Louis, I'd kind of do the melodies and Louis would kind of do the lyric with Jamie and then like, I'd kinda zone out whenever the words' on the page. And I did a few here and there. Whereas this time, I couldn't rewrite them for myself because every time I would, I would kind of zone out. So I found out I had ADHD and once I kind of got past that bit - the words bit - music, singing, whatever it is, the words bit is the best bit for me."

"I feel like I actually have something to say now, rather than just singing a song somebody else had written for me. All the fans have grown with us as solo artists so I'm happy to kind of be at the age where I can start to say a little bit more and you know, if my music helps one person who went through what I went through or any of those things really, I think that's my job and that's what I wanna do, to create those memories so that's kind of the next move for me really."

"I don't really know if I knew what I signed up for when I started and I've been doing my job since I was 14 years old which I've been very lucky to hold the job for that long which is great but I do think it definitely left scars on me. You have to unpack a lot of stuff before you start this job. I wouldn't change a thing now that I am where I am, I've kind of made my own sense of why I ended up at this place. And like I said, it definitely gave me something to say and if I can help anybody out in my position, not so much on the fame side but the things that happened to me before and kind of stop that from happening to somebody else, that would be my life's dream. It's a great life and I have a lot of gratitude (...) but there was definitely low moments that I'll never minimize. It's just about having the right people around you at the right time and I was lucky to have people to watch my back when I was at my worst place and help me get the help that I need and not everybody is that lucky so, I'm double grateful to be on the other side of it now and to have something to say and and like I said, it might change somebody's life."

"You know what? I refuse to write anything TikTok-able let's say but it kind of happened by accident that there are good bits in songs that would work on TikTok. I mean, I don't like to think about my music like that anyway cause one song I have is completely different from that but it's like, it's interesting to see the way our generation has changed and you know, if that's the way it goes, that's the way it goes. I'm just happy to put the record out and if it works, it works and if it doesn't, it doesn't. It is what it is."
