I remember Noel saying that during the later Oasis album recording sessions (in the 00s), no one would be allowed in the room when Liam was recording vocals. Even Noel wasn't allowed when Liam was singing his parts. He just wouldn't have anyone in there. And I guess you're meant to feel this rift in the band, you feel Liam's vocal problems bubbling under the surface.

But to be there's one more thing. I remember Liam trying to be responsible in 1997, recording his vocals for Be Here Now on his own while Noel all the way on holiday. How angry Noel had been that Liam recorded the vocals without him, and how Liam knew that even before Noel knew about him recording vocals. How Liam had been so sure that Noel would be mad, that he preferred to call him panicked at 4 in the morning telling Noel that he'd been shot, just to soften the anger in advance of Noel getting back to England and learning that Liam had dared to record vocals without him.

An in light of that, I also see 00's Liam trying to regain some autonomy over Oasis' musical process. And part of me thinks, good for you man. If you want to record vocals alone without Noel's permission, record them alone.

Same I love Liam voice a lot and I want him to sing like his X factor audition again but tbh I don't think that is going to happen now with Liam singing r&b but well one day maybe :'D also talking about that What do you think of Liam singing r&b ? Hello my Anon and I have to tell you that I do not particularly care for “autotuned” Liam, as he has such a beautiful, deep and impressive voice that it’s a shame not to able to hear it, but I can understand why it was done. I don’t think that Liam will only rap in his album, I think he will also include many singing parts.  As for your other question,  (and btw, here is the video),

don’t be surprised, most singers use a mixed voice; Liam sang low (with his chest voice) most of the times, but when he need to (depending on the key and the placement of the others), he used a mixed voice, not just to better fit in but to better support the song. There were 5 Boys singing, 3 tenors and 2 baritons (and yes, my Nonnie, Harry is most definately a baritone; granted, he cannot reach as low as Liam but he is a baritone, and he has a few problems because of the lousy treatment his voice was subjected to), and as you can understand, their songs cannot be made “sur-mesure” on each boy’s voice, so they make do. If you want to her the differences between their voice, go and listen the “you and I”, where you can hear each’s boy’s voice clearly (plus Liam harmonising and adding depth), and “Fireproof”, thhe 3 different falsettos.
