4. underrated moment?

are there really any when it comes to ian and mickey? i feel like we’ve meta’d them all from left to right

but as with anything, i’m first and foremost a fan of smaller character beats without any dialogue. ian stopping dead in his steps, his shoulders sagging, when he hears that mickey got some girl pregnant. the little moments in the early seasons where they discreetly check each other out. mickey being all soft with ian in the morning after he came out

16. if you are a writer/artist/gif maker/etc etc, what is your favourite gallavich work that you have done?

well, that changes all the time! just like one day, i can read what i wrote and think to myself what a load of garbage this is, and then the next be like, you know what, this is actually fine, some days i just like most what i wrote last

but i’d probably say the scenes from a marriage series is something i’m most proud of because when i started it, i was already somewhat confident in my writing and i had more fun writing it than my first fic. 

it’s also the only fic of mine that really uses the rest of the gallaghers, so it takes me more out of what i would at this point call my comfort zone, creatively speaking, because it’s just that harder for me to find their right voices

22. favourite episode?

i don’t think i have one, actually, but if i had to go with it, i’d say 5×06. i know, right, who hurt me? i just really enjoy emotional drama when it’s done right, and this episode is great on more than one front. cam and noel are on top of their acting games, the music is fantastic (tongues and also discoloration, how did we get two iconic songs in one episode?). it really is an all-round amazing mid-season high, which shameless used to make a habit of having

when they’re on the doctor’s office and the doctor asks ian about his emergency contacts and mickey says they don’t need that because ian got him ❤

i mostly gif scenes rather than make elaborate gifsets i’m not talented enough for elaborate ones i think but i love this one in particular with mickey deffending his family in front of the gallaghers but them opening up with ian because he trusts him (and it also got a bunch of notes which is awesome!)
