That's why I love Paris' 5e arrondissement
i went to library to study and i've never been here, but there's so many teens and tweens and kids here? it's a new building and there's a lot of space to hang around, both quiet an loud zones, and computers and games and i'm amazed, something something about libraries and accessible third places

Before I start I just wanted a to say, yes there are real books on wattpad. They are worth checking out and it’s a great option for people looking for a way for writers to get their books out there.
That being said, this one wasn’t really for me. Typically I am SO down for a sports romance(it’s one of my favorites!!!) but this book honestly disappointed me alittle bit. Like most books I randomly pick up, I saw it featured on Bookstagram and next thing you know, it was in my kindle library.
Let’s start with the good things, shall we? I liked the idea of the book. The smut was written pretty decently and the book also seemed somewhat realistic. My problem lies with the characterization of the main couple more than anything else. Our main character, has two personality traits. Her current prospect Vincent and books. She has no backstory, no personality, unless you count the “I’m not like other girls” story line the author throws in to create some tention. It’s like she doesn’t exist before her college days. It made it really hard to enjoy the book when i had so many questions about the main character’s life that are never addressed.
90% of this book is 🌶️. And it’s honestly not my favorite. I get that is how your characters met, they are attracted to each other, but literally every time the characters are together, they are kissing, hooking up or something other in that variety. There is no get to know you, take me out on a date nada. It’s just them hooking up, which is fine but doesn’t make sense in the context of the book.
The misscommumcation trope is very heavily featured and it’s not one of my favorites. The author makes it known that the main characters don’t like it, but still commits to it mutiple times………
Overall, it’s a okay read. If your into it, then go for it.

Please read this, if you don’t speak French you can put the article on translate. This is too important.. During the first lockdown, in France as in many countries, bookshop had to close because they weren’t seen by the government as essential shop.
They ARE essential, and they are in peril, because while we can’t get new books at bookshop and bookshop owners are on the edge of bankruptcy, Amazon & Cie are getting richer and richer... They NEED to stay open this time, and we need the books to go threw those weird times..
