I’d like to get this off my chest

Ever since I watched the 7th season of Voltron Legendary Defender, I’ve been thinking about Kallura while hoping that they would develop and improve their relationship and hoping that Keith and Allura would kiss each other in the lips in the end despite the creators and writers pushing for Allurance but I need to be completely honest with you. The main reason why I wanted Kallura to be canon because of what happened with the Thundercats 2011.

On that show, I wanted Lion-O and Cheetara to be canon but instead the creators put her with Tygra in the end. That’s where the show went downhill and the characters suffered character assassinations after the other with Pumyra betraying Lion-O in the end which led to show’s fatal demise. After hearing about what the creators had in store for season 2, I didn’t like it one bit and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Which is why I’m planning to write a fanfic about my take on season 2.

After watching VLD, I was hoping that it would different as so far it lived up to my expectation until Keith left the team on season 4. I only watched seasons 4 and 5 once and never watched them again until Keith came back in season 6 as the Paladin of the Black Lion. I’ve watched season 7 and despite some of the Kallura moments, the creators pushed hard for Allurance and I’ve suffered for it because I desperately wanted Keith and Allura to be romantic and hopefully he’ll give her a wholehearted apology for all the mean things he said to her about Alfor and Lotor. While at the same time, I’ve maintained the fact that fighting and bullying people over ships can only make things worse, which is why I refuse to bash over ships while hoping and praying that Kallura will be canon like all the Voltron incarnations in the past, like it’s a tradition. 

So I’ll tell you what. If Kallura is canon on VLD, I’ll be happy. If not, me and my fellow Kallura shippers will admit defeat and tell the world that we’ve done our best. That’s all I can say for now. And promise you that none of us fans will survive season 8.

It took me a while, but I finally finished :D

Here are LeeChee and Melinoe in the 2011 style (also a lil bonus of Mel and her Papa :>)

There’s no Barter for now, as I’d need to give him a bit more thought—considering that Barbastella only appears in roar and 2011 Panthro is already quite old... but I still want Barter to be in this version.

In this version, Tygra took Mel in and is raising her on his own, and she doesn't know who her real father is.

As for the girls' dresses, I used the dress my mom bought me during our trip to Greece as inspiration for LeeChee's dress, while Mel's dress has a slightly different design and an open back to accommodate her wings.

OK! SO.... I made a lil comic with my and @mummgraenjoyer 's fankids. They made another one, but after I made this, so now they have to make a continuation to add their last baby 💖. I made this a looooong time ago, but they've already let me publish the comic. You don't know half of their babies, but I won't tell you their names; you'll find out from their creator :3

All I'll give you is context. Our babies have known each other since they were little and often visit each other's worlds. Here, their babies visit mine for a sleepover :3

Oh God, oh my dear God, I can't believe that after almost 5 years I'm finally going to post my thundercats fankids (and ocs) .... oh God-

Allllllllllllright, so I'll start from the babies:

- LeeChee - Lion-o and Cheetara's daughter and the future queen of New Thundera (I'll explain about the New Thundera in a moment)

she's a bit like Kiara from Lion King, she's a very energetic and happy child like her dad and also really fast like her mom (they love racing each other 💖) she really wants to be like her parents and she hopes that she'll be as good as her dad and he assures her that she'll be much better than him, her relationship with Lion-o is like Simba and Kiara 💖💖💖💖

her weapon is a scepter which has half of the Eye of Thundera in it and works more or less like a wand, she's learning magic✨

- Barter - Panthro and Barbastella's son, LeeChee's bestie and her future knight hehe, he's an adventure kid, he's really brave and strong like his dad

he loves swords and Lion-o trains him, him and LeeChee have a very strong relationship, they spend their whole lives together, they even slept in the same crib when they were babies (and yes, they share bedroom)

as you may noticed, he loves swords so it's obvious that his weapon is a sword lol

- Melinoe (Mel) - she's the daughter of Tygra and Mumm-ra but her biological parents are Mumm-ra and Mumm-rana, it's a bit complicated hehe...

quick explanation: so Tygra and Mumm-ra wanted a baby and they went to Mumm-rana for help and she was like: "ok, I'll help you to have a baby, I know a good spell" she did some magic in her magic water and showed them that they both had to put their hands in the water, but Mumm-ra was in a hurry to put his hands in the water while hers were still in it and she was like "no wait-" *BOOM* baby

.... I know, it's crazy but that's my world hehehehe, anyway, when Tygra saw her he was like: "I love this baby, she's my everything, my whole world and I will kill anybody that would ever want to hurt her" his relationship with Mel is like Stolas and Octavia :3333 💖💖💖💖

(her name is based on the daughter of Persephone and Hades/Zeus who has a similar appearance description, one half of her body is pristinely clean representing her mother and the other half is dark representing her father)

she's a very nice girl and is also very close with LeeChee and Barter, they're a trio of three little monsters who have brought endless joy to their family's life 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Now my 2 ocs:

- Kira - God, I don't know where to start, she's a very complicated character... so she's modeled on a Polish eagle, she's immortal, more precisely, she's 1052 years old, her real name is Karolina like mine but she just prefers that nickname :P, I still don't know how she met the cats, but she currently lives with them and is part of their family 💖

she formed a very strong bond with Tygra and they became besties, she (not counting Mumm-ra) was practically the first person who started to really listen to him and understand him (she's not exactly like him, they have A LOT of differences but they still understand each other)

she has magic and planned to rebuild Thundera and since she's the embodiment of good, she also wanted to rebuild Plundarr, which Tygra didn't like very much, they argued about it, but Kira ultimately won hehe

even though the Thundercats are somewhat of a protectors themselves, she's their protector, she truly loves and cares for them 💖💖💖💖

(also about her outfit.... her dress is based on Srena's Butterfly dress, @flx-res character and I feel really bad that her dress is so simillar cause literally the only things I changed was the flowers color and I made the inside of her dress red and they're the only differences wich makes me feel really bad that I just stole that outfit, even the pose is the same 😭😭😭😭 I'll try my best to change that like adding some things like a belt, again, I'm really sorry 😞)

- Mike - let me start by saying that he's simply a total dick (lol) he's Kira's husband and they're just like Stolas and Stella but swapped, he's modeled on a German eagle and their relationship is just Poland and Germany's XD

he's my main antagoist and he really hates Kira, he wants her dead but he can't kill her because they're immortal, you can stick a dagger into their bodies and they'll bleed and they may be unconscious for a while but in a moment they'll be reborn like a phoenix (I took this headcanon from the fact that Poland is compared to a phoenix that was always reborn after its fall)

he and Kira are from another dimension and one of the reasons she ended up on Third Earth is because she wanted to hide from him but they both know that he knows she's there lol

one day he came to the Mutants with an offer they couldn't refuse, offering them to rebuild Plundarr in exchange for defeating Kira, which had only benefits for them because they would not only get their home back but also defeat the Thundercats so he became their new boss (Vultureman didn't really liked that, sure he wanted Plundarr back and to defeat Thundercats but he didn't want to hurt Kira cause he's madly in love with her)

and here I don't know how to do it, but I want him to suddenly change at some point and want to redeem himself, I thought it would be after Kira wants to sacrifice herself for him, I just want them to be finally happy after all these years (they really need a separate post, it's too much 😭😭😭😭)
