Wherein I the host of the show “Truth Serum” asked the hottest tea, issues circling the infamous k-pop idols HUNTR/X and SAJA BOYS. Will they be honest or would the detector be honest for them? We’ll know TONIGHT AT 8:00pm
The "Truth Serum" studio shimmered, a kaleidoscope of lights reflecting off the gleaming lie detectors. Lieyarzy, radiating warmth and mischief in a dazzling jumpsuit, addressed the audience with a bright smile. "Annyeonghaseyo, K-pop lovers! Welcome to Truth Serum, the show where we spill the tea, expose the secrets, and let the lie detectors do the talking! Tonight, we have a very special treat in store for you."
She paused for dramatic effect, letting the anticipation build. "Get ready for some serious sparks, because we've got two of the hottest K-pop groups facing off: the incredibly talented Huntr/X…" The camera panned to Huntr/X – Rumi, Mira, and Zoey – who waved shyly to the audience. "…and their equally electrifying rivals, Saja Boys!" The camera then focused on Saja Boys – Jinu, Abs/Abby, Romance, Mystery, and Baby – who struck various confident poses, earning cheers from the audience.
Lieyarzy clapped her hands together, her enthusiasm infectious. "Now, for those of you who are new to Truth Serum, let me explain the rules. It's simple: our celebrity guests will answer a series of questions, and these amazing lie detectors will reveal if they're telling the truth or… well, let's just say they'll know if they're fibbing!" She gestured to the gleaming machines with a playful wink. "So, no sneaky lies allowed! One little untruth, and zing! you get a little electric shock. It's all in good fun, of course!"
She leaned forward conspiratorially. "Tonight's theme? Let's just say it involves a certain enigmatic manager who's captured the hearts of both our groups. And yes, there might be a little bit of friendly rivalry involved. Buckle up, because it's going to be a wild ride!" She winked at the camera. "Let the games… and the zapping… begin!"
The first few questions were lighthearted, designed to break the ice and gauge the groups' reactions. Lieyarzy, ever the master of subtle provocation, started with some playful shipping questions. "Rumi, is it true that you and Jinu's have nothing going on?" Rumi, ever the professional, shot back a perfectly poised, "Absolutely not." No zap. The audience chuckled.
Mira, however, wasn't so lucky. "Mira, have you ever considered a duet with Abs/Abby? Perhaps a powerful ballad showcasing your contrasting styles?" Mira's carefully constructed 'no comment' was instantly met with a ZAP! The audience roared with laughter. "Okay, okay," Mira conceded, rolling her eyes, "It was a hypothetical. For a song."
Zoey, ever the quick-witted comedian, deflected a question about a potential collaboration with Romance with a flurry of jokes, earning both laughter and a warning zap. "Maybe," she admitted, grinning, "But only if he promises to stop staring at my shoes."
Saja Boys, however, weren't immune to the lie detector's wrath. Jinu's denial of ever finding Mira's stage presence intimidating resulted in a loud ZAP! that made him visibly flinch. Abs/Abby's insistence that he'd never considered Zoey's rapping skills "fierce" was met with another satisfying ZAP! Romance, ever the romantic, attempted a flowery denial of any interest in Mira, only to be interrupted by a series of ZAPS that left him sputtering. Mystery, typically stoic, mumbled a denial of ever finding Huntr/X's music "catchy," earning a sharp ZAP! Baby, however, remained remarkably calm amidst the chaos. When asked if he'd ever considered collaborating with Zoey on a track, he simply shrugged and said, "Maybe. If the beat's right." No zap. He just seemed… unimpressed by the whole ordeal.
Lieyarzy’s smile widened, her eyes glinting mischievously. "Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room—or rather, the incredibly stylish demon in the room: Y/N, manager extraordinaire of Saja Boys!"
The tension in the studio thickened. The camera zoomed in on each face, capturing the subtle shifts in expression.
"Huntr/X," Lieyarzy purred, "Let's be honest. You're all a little… intrigued by Y/N, aren't you?"
Rumi’s carefully constructed composure wavered. "We… appreciate her dedication," she stammered, earning an immediate ZAP! Mira tried a different tactic. "She's a brilliant strategist," she said stiffly. ZAP! Zoey, never one to mince words, blurted out, "Her fashion sense is impeccable! And she always brings the best coffee." ZAP!
Lieyarzy turned to Saja Boys. "And you gentlemen? Let's not beat around the bush. Have you ever considered… sharing your manager?"
Jinu's jaw tightened. "Absolutely not," he growled, earning a resounding ZAP! Abs/Abby's denial was even more unconvincing, resulting in a double ZAP! that made him wince. Romance, ever dramatic, launched into a passionate speech about loyalty and brotherhood, only to be interrupted by a series of ZAPS that left him speechless. Mystery, typically reserved, mumbled something about Y/N's strategic brilliance, earning a sharp ZAP! Baby, however, remained completely unfazed. When asked the same question, he simply said, "Nah. She's ours." No zap. He just stared straight ahead, completely unbothered by the chaos unfolding around him.
Lieyarzy leaned forward, her eyes gleaming. "So, a mutual admiration society! Huntr/X, have you ever considered… recruiting Y/N?" The ensuing chaos was a masterpiece of controlled pandemonium. Denials, followed by a rapid-fire succession of ZAPS, interspersed with witty retorts and embarrassed giggles.
Lieyarzy announced, "And that's a wrap for this segment! We'll be right back after a short break!"
🎬
The studio went dark, but the microphones remained on. The faint sounds of bickering could be heard, punctuated by the occasional ZAP!
Rumi: "She's our manager now!"
Jinu: "No, she's ours!"
ZAP!
Mira: "She appreciates our artistic vision more!"
Abs/Abby: "She needs someone to lift her bags!"
ZAP!
Zoey: "She loves my sense of humor!"
Romance: "She inspires my poetry!"
ZAP! ZAP!
Mystery: "Her strategic brilliance is unparalleled!"
Baby: (calmly) "She makes the best coffee."
Silence
Lieyarzy’s voice, slightly muffled, cut through the quiet. "Alright, alright, settle down, lovebirds!" The faint sounds of continued bickering, punctuated by the occasional ZAP, faded as the show resumed.
