Got the chance to participate in the Autumn Vibes Magna hosted by @pvtpunsart! It was very fun getting the chance to draw with such amazing artists, and here are my contributions:

Life!Tello and Life!Raph were left unsupervised…

Life!Leo in a leaf pile… is he happy? Is he being crushed? Nobody knows and isn’t that just the story of his life…

And, finally, my part in the collab! Life!Angelo tried to jumpscare Leo…

Truthfully, he's just going to watch videos on multiverse theories... but threats are far more effective when there's precedent.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, right?

Little bit of experimentation with this one (aka I can’t use my tablet so I did this with a mouse-)

Some info under the cut:

The main goal of this drawing was to show some lore I did for the turtles eyes in my iteration! Until now I’ve only drawn them with the white eyes, but they do actually have color!

Because the ooze that mutated them come from the Krang, I gave them pink/magenta eyes! They glow very brightly, which is why they usually have their second eyelids down.

Splinter’s eyes glow yellow in the drawing because he wasn’t exposed to as much of the ooze as the turtles!

What happens when you mix four genetically modified turtles and an untested alien substance? I guess you'll just have to find out!

After watching approximately 4 tmnt series back-to-back, I present to you: Life of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (aka LoTMNT), an original iteration by yours truly! The story is far from complete- all I have are a few scenes I want to add and ideas for where the characters fit into the story. I've been doodling these guys a lot and figured I'd share them here too, so let me know if anyone else would be interested in seeing more!

Leonardo (Leo): The second eldest of the brothers, only a few months younger than Angelo. Leo is usually quiet, but has an artistic side that presents itself in the murals he paints in the Lair. He's either calm or anxious, with very little in between. Michelangelo (Angelo): The eldest by a few months, Angelo is energetic and comedic. He makes a point of keeping things lighthearted, lifting his brother's spirits even when things get difficult. He's a mediator as much as he is an instigator, and pretty sensitive to the emotions of others. Raphael (Raph): Tello's twin and thus the second youngest, Raph is the boldest of the brothers. He won't back down from a fight, but he won't always start one. Raph holds himself to a code and refuses to begin a fight where he thinks he has an unfair advantage. He loves learning about the history of wars, and has a fascination with bugs. Donatello (Tello): Raph's twin and the youngest of the brothers, Tello can be described quite well as a gremlin with access to power tools. He takes great joy in being a source of chaos (and weaponry), but also allows his older brothers to reign him in from time to time. Tello enjoys researching anything and everything, though he also tries to read up on his brothers interests.

@tmntzero 52: Overwhelmed (Ryan Mack Remix) - by Ryan Mack

This is a very Life!Leo song to me, particularly in the second ‘season’, after he gets tossed out a window. There’s specific visuals I imagine with a certain part of this song: “well well well would you look at that/another person telling me that I should just relax/calm down and take it easy, everything will be okay”. In the original song this is more about people being dismissive- but that wouldn’t really happen to Leo, so I turn those lines into others trying to comfort him. Casey: “just relax” - at this point he doesn’t know anyone well aside from Raph. He wants to help but also struggles to understand everything they’re going through, so is unintentionallly dismissive of Leo’s very reasonable anxiety. April: “calm down” - if this were an animation, the visual would be of Leo struggling to sit up as April hovers over him, trying to get him to stop. She understands more of what he’s going through and understands that he feels a need to do something, but also knows that he’s being irrational. Angelo: “take it easy” - this is both in the rest-to-recover sense, as Angelo is the medic of the group, and trying to tell Leo not to blame himself. Splinter: “everything will be okay” - this would be around the time Splinter realizes that distancing himself did NOT help his sons in any way, and becomes more active in their adventures. He promises everything will be okay because he will make sure it is.

Tello is not featured here because he got kidnapped. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned that before but yeah. That happens 👍
