It's Magma time once again, hosted by @weeklymagmas! I don't work with pallets very much so this week was a fun challenge :]

First, a Raph! Didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped, but that's just how art works sometimes I guess.

Tello from my fan iteration! Didn't have a specific plan going into this one but I'm really happy with how it turned out- yes this means I will now be giving Tello a jetpack, he deserves it.

And... Fire. Was inspired by the amazing art done by @/vulstare and @/cimmerian1275 to try and do more of a background, but I then struggled adding anything else to it 😭 still pretty good in my book, I haven't drawn a proper background in ages.

Last but not least, I participated in a few rounds of the drawing game this magma! It was very fun :]

The theme was 'cool kid energy' but I don't know what's cool so I did what's cold 😎

Got the chance to participate in the Autumn Vibes Magna hosted by @pvtpunsart! It was very fun getting the chance to draw with such amazing artists, and here are my contributions:

Life!Tello and Life!Raph were left unsupervised…

Life!Leo in a leaf pile… is he happy? Is he being crushed? Nobody knows and isn’t that just the story of his life…

And, finally, my part in the collab! Life!Angelo tried to jumpscare Leo…

Truthfully, he's just going to watch videos on multiverse theories... but threats are far more effective when there's precedent.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, right?

Little bit of experimentation with this one (aka I can’t use my tablet so I did this with a mouse-)

The main goal of this drawing was to show some lore I did for the turtles eyes in my iteration! Until now I’ve only drawn them with the white eyes, but they do actually have color!

Because the ooze that mutated them come from the Krang, I gave them pink/magenta eyes! They glow very brightly, which is why they usually have their second eyelids down.

Splinter’s eyes glow yellow in the drawing because he wasn’t exposed to as much of the ooze as the turtles!

What happens when you mix four genetically modified turtles and an untested alien substance? I guess you'll just have to find out!

After watching approximately 4 tmnt series back-to-back, I present to you: Life of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (aka LoTMNT), an original iteration by yours truly! The story is far from complete- all I have are a few scenes I want to add and ideas for where the characters fit into the story. I've been doodling these guys a lot and figured I'd share them here too, so let me know if anyone else would be interested in seeing more!

Leonardo (Leo): The second eldest of the brothers, only a few months younger than Angelo. Leo is usually quiet, but has an artistic side that presents itself in the murals he paints in the Lair. He's either calm or anxious, with very little in between. Michelangelo (Angelo): The eldest by a few months, Angelo is energetic and comedic. He makes a point of keeping things lighthearted, lifting his brother's spirits even when things get difficult. He's a mediator as much as he is an instigator, and pretty sensitive to the emotions of others. Raphael (Raph): Tello's twin and thus the second youngest, Raph is the boldest of the brothers. He won't back down from a fight, but he won't always start one. Raph holds himself to a code and refuses to begin a fight where he thinks he has an unfair advantage. He loves learning about the history of wars, and has a fascination with bugs. Donatello (Tello): Raph's twin and the youngest of the brothers, Tello can be described quite well as a gremlin with access to power tools. He takes great joy in being a source of chaos (and weaponry), but also allows his older brothers to reign him in from time to time. Tello enjoys researching anything and everything, though he also tries to read up on his brothers interests.

Do your smarts and crafts duo enjoy being creative together? (does Raph join them with knitting lol) What’s their dynamic like?

Tello and Angelo get along really well, even though one might not think so at first glance- Angelo is over the top while Tello tends to seem very neutral. However. Angelo always hypes up Tello’s inventions with dramatic introductions, and they do very much share a love for chaos. As for them being creative together… Angelo isn’t the artist of the group in my iteration (that goes to Leo) but he really likes making videos- skits, mostly, but also pranks or vlogs. Tello helps him with some of the technical aspects, and come up with pranks to play on the others. In turn, Angelo is very good at coming up with very random invention ideas for Tello to try and create. They have a lot of late-night brainstorming sessions :] Raph wouldn’t really hang out with them together very much- it gets a bit too wild for him- but he hangs out with them individually a lot! More so with Tello, given a) they’re twins and b) they share a passion for learning, even if different subjects. He dabbles in knitting, but it’s not his primary hobby.
