I attended the burning of the Life Cube, it was beautiful. 💜💜💜✌️✌️😸😸
I did as well... it was very spectacular! I hope to get some of the photos edited soon :D
Burn, baby... (2014) The LifeCube Project, finally come to close in downtown Las Vegas on March 21, after a month of participation from the community to create an awesome interactive art experience.
There's this really awesome thing in downtown Las Vegas (Fremont and 10th) called the Life Cube. An art installation from Burning Man, you write your wishes and dreams on post cards, put them into the cube, and then on March 21st, it all goes up in flame.
There's live music, paint and materials provided if you want to add your art to the cube, and chalk so you can go crazy in the parking lot (which I did... strangers even commissioned me to do some portraits, so that was neat).
If you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth checking out.
