#Nintendo announced a #Majoras #Mask remake for the #3DS. I don't have one, but I'm still a huge #Legend of #Zelda fan. Commence #hype. #textured #illustration #LoZ #game #Majora #terriblefate #poorSkullKid
So while at #lifeisbeautiful2014 we were staring at a pool filled with a lot of #rubberducks, just resting our legs really. Some bearded stranger came up to us and gave us this little fella, before going on his way. Then he came back and gave us a second one. #duck #wizard #whereishenow

In some circles I'm known as a Wild Heathen.
What a card!
Price is a common client concern. I get that. Having been a starving college student, I sympathize completely. The thing is, when something costs a certain amount it's usually valued a certain amount.
Whenever a client says they're going to shop around, I think, "Sure! Go for it." Look for the best deal you could possibly find, because I might not be able to provide everything you need at the price you want. There might be other people or services out there who can.
Some clients even think, "I'm gonna design my own stuff." Even better. By all means, learn the trade, grow the network a little, and create something! It's gonna be fun, and I always encourage the opportunity to learn something.
I get that.
But if you're going to wing it, please, for the sake of design, don't forget to put contact details on your business cards.
You get what you pay for folks.
Ka-freakin-boom.
I just learned about bleach shirts. Guess what I'm gonna try.
And don't you forget it.
So I got a new brush pen and have been tinkering around with it for a bit. This was the first creation I was proud of.
"The Same Coin" Has a great work of art ever inspired you to create your own? Bioshock: Infinite was a beautiful game, and the ending just floored me. I was overwhelmed with so much emotion that I had to do something about it. This is the result.
So I'm in a Ren Faire Guild that does a lot of stage combat. We make most of our own garb and armor ourselves, and I've been wanting a shield for quite a while.
New business cards just arrived! Can't wait to bust these puppies out.
There's this really awesome thing in downtown Las Vegas (Fremont and 10th) called the Life Cube. An art installation from Burning Man, you write your wishes and dreams on post cards, put them into the cube, and then on March 21st, it all goes up in flame.
There's live music, paint and materials provided if you want to add your art to the cube, and chalk so you can go crazy in the parking lot (which I did... strangers even commissioned me to do some portraits, so that was neat).
If you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth checking out.
