Please always know that in a world of hate that there is good out there. Haters want to spread hatred, fear and distrust. But there is is always a reason why someone started hating something or someone - this man felt lost and powerless, and being a white supremacist gave him a feeling of power and belonging that he needed. Before you blast someone online, try to understand why they have their views, no matter how abhorrent they appear to us, and then maybe we can actually start to help each other. When you are physically faced by hate, it's so hard to keep your cool, after all, it goes against everything you believe in. But still reach out and show love, compassion and patience, even if you don't always get it back. Ask them calmly why they feel the way they do. Plant a seed of doubt amongst their weeds of hate. Give them a hug. Do anything to show them love, because chances are, they lack it in their own lives.
