This is why you shouldn't buy too many newborn clothes. Though Ammar was born with low birthweight and he just started to fit well in those clothes when he was 1 month old. He outgrew them at 6 weeks. #lifeafternu #dearexpectantparents

So Glad that He’s Home

I never thought that being away from my husband would be that hard. It’s only 2 weeks, we’ve been through more before when I was still in Malaysia. But now, I am no longer used to it. I spend almost half of my day with Nu not more than 3 meters away. 

And it was worth the wait *if you know what i mean ;)

Nu has just finished his 2 weeks training. Due to the ridiculously expensive airfare during holiday season, he didn’t extend his stay by traveling somewhere in Europe and went straight home one day after. 

Nu barely had enough time to shop, and all he bought is chocolate for everyone, skincare and bag for his lovely wife (read: ME!). He did not spend all his euro and not even use his credit card there. And as expected he did not even buy a single thing for himself. His belongings are still the same except for the two free shocks from Qatar airline goodies. He forgot that I ordered him to buy a nice belt buckle for himself because his current one is like “abang ojek”.

Anyway, I’m just so happy that he’s home. Even his sweat smells nice now. I took a day off on Monday and we ended up sleeping until 1 pm (who’s the one with the real jet lag now), watched Star Wars Episode VII afterwards.

Bidadari

Sore itu kami baru turun dari pesawat di bandara KLIA 2.

Saya: Huh, KLIA selalu lebay deh ACnya, dingin banget

Nu: *mengeluarkan pashmina saya dari dalam tasnya* Apakah ini selendangmu yg hilang? *sok-sok macam legenda tentang pemuda dan selendang bidadari hanyut di sungai*

Saya: Wah, kamu menemukannya, hadiahnya adalah menikah denganku...

Nu: Apa yg membuatmu jatuh dr kahyangan, bidadari? Overweight ya?

Like why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it’s so hard? 

It’s not always easy and sometimes life can be deceiving I’ll tell you one thing it’s always better when we’re together
