Max would stand on the beach as she would sigh softly. Arcadia Bay was so peaceful, much more so then it had been. Max still could not get the feeling of the electricity in the air out of her mind.. Max had been different, the week that none would ever know where the town was almost completely wiped out by the storm; had changed her. What was there really for her anymore? Mark Jefferson was behind bars, the whole school was in a very bad location after Nathan was put away.. and most importantly to her, Chloe was gone. It absolutely tore Max apart to have to listen to Chloe’s last words; the gunshot still rang through her mind. She had honestly fallen in love with Chloe over the week they had spent together and she just wished it could have turned out differently.. Max would feel the sand against her feet as a blue butterfly landed nearby. She wondered about her powers, and she just knew that she no longer had them.. She would see the blue butterfly on a small post nearby, it was the same one from Chloe’s funeral. “Well little guy, I do have to admit you must love pictures.” Max would take out her instant camera, a part of her feeling a bit weird since it was not William’s old camera. She took a picture of the butterfly and placed it in her bag, right next to a selfie she had taken that morning before heading to class.
