I've been tagged, and I'm bored, so...
Rule 1: post the rules
Rule 2: answer all the questions the tagged set for you, and then set eleven of your own.
Rule 3: tag eleven people and link them to your post.
1. What is your name [if you could pick any name at all]?
I'll stick with Kevin, thanks.
2. What is your quest?
To dream the impossible dream, to reach the unreachable star, and to follow that star. No matter how hopeless. No matter how far. And all that jazz.
3. What is your favorite color?
I don't really have one...blue, I guess.
4. Where would you like to go?
Well, right now I want to go home for break. But in general, I want to just go. I want to travel and never settle down. At least for now.
5. What makes you happy?
Oh, lots. I think I'm most happy reading a book or watching an animated Disney movie.
6. What movie do you want to see this week?
I've fallen behind on what is still in theaters. Are Lincoln and Skyfall still there because I want to see them?
7. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My sense of humor.
8. What five books should everyone read?
Atlas Shrugged, The Gold Coast series (anything by Nelson Demille really), The Sun Also Rises, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and It's All Over but the Shoutin'.
9. Is there something you were taught in life that you have come to think is ill-advised or ridiculous?
I think the idea that we should just obey authority without questioning it is ill-advised and ridiculous.
10. Do you spend more time considering the past or the future? Or are you like Ted Mosby and you don’t live in Ohio, but rather, you live in the moment?
I jump between the three quite frequently. Right now I'm living in my vacation this weekend and avoiding the present, but I have a tendency to reminisce and become absorbed in the present at times.
11. If you could write a haiku about how you feel right now, what would it look like?
It would probably be three lines with the first being five syllables long. No more. No less. This first line would be followed by a line seven syllables long, which may or may not rhyme with the first. Then I would conclude with an also optionally rhyming five syllable line. And these numbers of syllables are not to be changed. The numbers 5,7, and 5 must remain. It shall not be 6,7,5 nor 5,8,4, nor any other combination of syllables.
