Quick question, I saw on your instagram your Spider-Gwen shoes, and I'm wanting to do knee highs with the painted soles/toe kicks. What did you use to paint yours and seal them? And did it work well? Thank you. <3
Hope I didn’t take too long to answer this!
For my shoes I just painted with turquoise acrylic paint and sealed with Mod Podge. While the paint worked just fine and came back from a day at the convention relatively unchipped, I do not recommend the Mod Podge. It was just too sticky and attracted dust and dirt. I am on the lookout for a better sealant that will leave a smoother and less sticky finish. Once the weather warms I might try a polyurethane sealant. Will keep you posted, or if you find a great solution please let me know! Good luck with your shoes. :)

Omg Blood! I am such a hemophobe. It all stems from a Thanksgiving Day incident when I snipped my finger with a scissor and fainted from seeing the blood. So I pair it with sharp objects. Getting blood work done is always interesting, but I haven’t fainted since that one time.
3. Why i love my best friend (moirail)
So I am a blessed person because I have several people I consider best friends and for different reasons, but let me tell you about my moirail. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I can always turn to her to vent or for advice, and she always has some good advice. We used to have geek power hours and have plenty of wonderful cosplay memories (especially our moirail shoot that I want to seeeee). We have a freaky mind connection where we often think and say the same things at the exact same moment and It is both cool and terrifying. She is my rock and one of the best supporters anyone could ask for. <>
