Okay so I came up with this concept.

What if, the second you were conceived, a line appeared where your final resting place would be. It could be on a wall, on a fence, or any solid object. When you were born, a faint outline of a person was visible but not their face or anything around them, just them.

As you grew up and the end of your life inched closer and closer, certain details appeared and they could help you possibly on your path if you deciphered them right.

Then, on your death bed at your death, the final detail appeared. It was a complete summary of your life in one picture.
