Had a great Sunday morning at church with a great sermon then volunteering with the youth and investing in the next generation. Such much joy.

Um, can every day be a “fall back” day and give me an extra hour of sleep???  I got up, made breakfast, checked out a new church (which I REALLY liked), got back home and my Dad asked if I wanted to go for a walk.  He came over and 3.1 miles later, I had hit my step goal for the ay and still had a whole afternoon to get stuff done.

I did laundry, went and grabbed some lunch (thank you late lunch and having enough points plus working out to grab some zaxby’s), made up my guest bed, found some stuff i had been looking for, did some housework and I’m sitting here wondering what else I can do this evening since I have time.  

And with that, I’m over 10,000 steps for the day.

All in all, it was a good Sunday.

Keep Pressing Forward!

Philippians 3:13-14

But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Don’t even consider giving up! Don’t you give up! If you are facing something challenging, I have a Word from the Lord for you today...Don’t quit! “God is Shifting Everything Forward Right Now!” Keep pressing forward! For every goliath, there is a David...For every haman, there is an Esther...For every pharaoh, there is a Moses...For every nebuchadnezzar there is a Daniel...For every jezebel there is an Elijah...And for every herod there is a Jesus! Father God has divinely positioned you for IMPACT! Never forget, God is in control! You’re not in a set back...You’re in a set-up! You may not understand it yet but, God has set you up for Great Victory! Great Battles come right before Great Victories! Don’t give up, don’t give in...You are in the midst of Shifting Into The Future That God has Designed For Your Life! Listen to this prophetic word from Isaiah...

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

The devil doesn’t like you, but if you’ll keep pressing through you’ll walk right through your doorway of breakthrough!

God is “Shifting His Church Into The Future!” Releasing a “New Wine In His New WineSkins!” There is a redefining of the Church, Ministry, a reestablishing of Servant-hood, Honor in the house of God. There is a Prophetic word going forth in this hour, “A Secret from God” he is declaring through His Mouthpiece, The Prophets! This is what God is declaring...“Get ready for everything to change into the “NEW!” The church that is coming forth will not look like the church of the past, It will revolutionize the church & the world! It will be a New Wine-Skin Church that Jesus Builds Today! A church that Joins the Generations! Because the youth need mature leadership, and those that are older need the strength of the younger ones. We need to respect each other’s strengths, and God has been teaching the more mature ones to learn to relate in order to lead. So we need each other! This press has a bigger vision for the future than what you can perceive at this moment. The New Wineskin church Jesus is building, it leaves no part of the family of God outside looking in. In fact it mobilizes the entire army of God! Everyone has their part! And in “Unity-Together-In One Accord” we will “Take The High Ground & Break Through!” Keep Pressing Forward!

We love you & appreciate your faithfulness to this ministry. Because of your faithfulness and support we are able to release the Word of the Lord to the nations. Rough Day Today

So I work as a volunteer for my church (LifePointe) in the children's ministry. My job is basically to run the computer (videos, songs, background music for the skits, games, etc), make sure rehearsal and the service runs smoothly. Keep everyone on task, run lights and sound. So I guess my title is more like a "producer" for Sunday morning tech. So I get to church this morning, we start rehearsing, to find there's no sound in our monitors. We can't get any music to play, microphones won't work, no matter what we do. One of our actors was missing, two of our leaders were out of town. We had a guest speaker this morning and she had a very specific way of doing things that threw our whole time schedule off by almost 15-20 minutes. It was such a cluster this morning... But hey. Its mothers day, so we're gonna go see age of ultron with mom!

Just Believe It!

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Nike has a slogan, “Just Do It!” I think an even better concept for today is “Just Believe It!” Take God at His Word! What an exciting time to be alive in the Kingdom of God! God promised He would accelerate His word to fulfill it and He is true to His word. (Jer. 2) I believe we are entering into a season of suddenlies or acceleration! A time when God is suddenly answering prayers, suddenly breaking many out of limitations, suddenly enlarging vision & suddenly fulfilling prophecy!

Isaiah 48:3(NIV) I foretold(Prophesied) the former things long ago,  my mouth(Prophet) announced them and I made them known;  then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.

Many people are at the edge of their breakthrough, “Right Now!” Now is the time to take out your prophetic promises and fight the good fight of faith! Like Moses at the edge of the Red Sea, stretch out your faith and declare what “Thus Saith The Lord!” Just Believe It & Decree It! And expect Great Things! But what if it looks the opposite of that word coming to pass? This is why you have your prophecy! God knew what you would need to know before you needed it, that’s why He spoke that prophetic word to you so you would know the truth, and the truth you know would make you free! Look at what His word says in Numbers 23:19 it says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Just Believe It! Suddenly God is acting to bring what He promised to pass!

Get Excited! Get an Expectation of your breakthrough! God has heard your every prayer and knows the desires of your heart. Have an expectation, believe God over the circumstances. If God said it than as long as you’re going to believe someone, you might as well believe God! We are called believers, and we don’t give up on faith, we keep the faith! This is all a part of learning to walk in the Kingdom of God.

Stir Up Your Joy! The devil hates Joyful Christians! You cannot have faith & wear a frown. Get your Joy back! The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace & Joy in the Holy Ghost! Laugh at your enemy, because God brought him close enough for you to see him fully defeated! Laugh again! Let these words ring in your heart…Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Laugh and keep on laughing! Laughter can be a weapon of warfare against the enemy! Prov.17:22 “A merry heart does good like a medicine!” Job 5:22 You shall laugh at destruction and famine, And you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth. Psalm 2:4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.(Holds them in extreme contempt as He mocks them!) Psalm 126:2 Then were our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. Luke 6:21 Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now,  For you shall laugh. Psalm 37:12-13 The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.

All things are possible for believers. Don’t let the enemy stop you now! Just Believe and Joyfully cross over into your breakthrough! We love and appreciate every one of our partners in ministry. Many exciting things are happening. God is blessing and we are all receiving!

Ready to Win!

There was an old gospel song that went, “I’ve got a feeling, everything is gonna be alright!” Throughout the body of Christ today, there is much challenge and change. I believe it is because the Lord is repositioning us for birthing the New, Positioned for Possession. Our confidence must remain in our faithful Father. This is a time of stretching out and a stretching forth. God spoke about this through His prophet in Isaiah 54:1-3 “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left...” Have Faith, God is at work in His church! He is making room for greater blessings to come into your life! This is why we are going through the stretching! We have been Positioned for a Powerful Progression! Our faith is producing results! Our faith is taking us someplace! We are not stuck in a rut, but we are moving forward!

Some may feel like they have seen things similar to this in times past, but this time is different no matter how familiar things look. We can’t afford to have a been there, done that perspective, God has brought us into a new dimension of His Glory, Power & Blessings! In Joshua 3:4 scripture says it like this, “...for ye have not passed this way heretofore.” It may look like familiar terrain, but we are taking new ground, new territory. And like with Joshua, God is leading the church through His leaders in a spiritual pilgrimage to possess their land of promise. We are on a journey, a mission to a greater prophetic fulfillment, and everything, and I mean everything is gonna be alright! You may be facing a health issue, God is the healer of your body today. He said in scripture, “I am the God that healeth thee!” Or maybe your battle is a financial one? I want to encourage you that Our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills, all the hills, and all the hidden riches within those hills! The point is this, no matter the challenge you’re facing, Our Father has provided the solution and it is available for you today! You’re set up for Victory! Get ready to win!

Live Life Like A Champion Today! Philippians 4:13 I can...do all things through Christ which strengthens me! Too Many people live life according to their feelings! We need to stop being led by our souls and live Spirit led!

Set your mind & keep it set! Once you make a decision to follow God’s Word, low level living is over! Make up your mind and get it into your heart that what God says about you is the truth and not just how you feel at the moment! Feelings change, life changes, but the word of truth remains steadfast, forever! If God said it, it will come to pass! His word will not return void of fulfillment, but it shall accomplish what He sent it to accomplish and prosper where He sent it!

Declare this over your life...

I am a Champion because Jesus Christ lives big in me!

The bible says that God builds precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little! Recognize God’s smallest moves in your life and rejoice in them! They may be like Elijah seeing the cloud the size of a man’s hand, but because of his response, abundance was released on the nation!

Little things mean a lot!

We were driving down the highway the other day and one little part on our car made us have to pull over and stop! One little part on the car affected the whole operation of the car! One little bad habit, one little hidden part can bring everything to a halt! And champions know little things make a big difference! Little changes for the good can also make a big difference! Champions understand a little change here and there and make the difference between success & failure! Be willing to make the changes to do it Gods way! God is setting you up to win! A professional musician understands that a little shift in the way you hold your instrument can make the difference between sounding good or most excellent! A pro golfer knows that a little shift in your grip or your feet makes the difference between a great drive down the middle or a slice into the woods! Champions have a mindset that they are gonna win and any little adjustment to a little part of life necessary for victory is worth the pain invested to change!

Stop all comparisons to others! God gave gifts and talents that are different (Remember UBU You-Be-You), don't compare yourself to try to live up to somebody else!

God doesn't give you fully developed gifting, you've got to take your seed and grow it into a full grown oak tree! And you may feel like all you have is acorns...but Champions hold their ground and keep on standing, keep on fighting the elements, keep on pressing on until they reach their season of fruitfulness!

I hope you are encouraged today to stay in the battle until you win! You are destined to win! Things can be given suddenly and instantly by the Hand of the Lord, but Godly Character takes time to grow. Give God your best and expect your victory!

Breaking Barriers

Matthew 16:15-19

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus is asking the church of the 21st Century the same question today that He asked the church more than 2000 years ago, “Who Do You Say That I Am?” The answer determines whether you breakthrough or not. You cannot break through the barriers you will face in this life without knowing Jesus! Sometimes God will use these obstacles to pull us together in unity and draw His body closer. It’s then and only then we realize “One can put one-thousand to flight and two can put ten-thousand to flight!” No one can easily move a fixed barrier by simply pushing on it alone, or by themselves, it takes “FORCE!” Multiplied Force!

The same is true regarding the barriers that are blocking you today. Jesus said, “The Gates of Hell Will Not Prevail Against The Church I Am Building!” The Church – the Body of Christ is comprised of more than one person. If we are going to break through the barriers we face in life, we really do need each other! Like a carpenter building a house, Jesus is at work today through His Holy Spirit building the church. It’s a time of Counting the cost, paying the price, and aligning with the Lord’s Plumbline, a living organism structured with the need for each other to succeed. Too many times we run up at the obstacles alone, only to suffer defeat. Jesus said in Matthew 11:12 ...the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. The implication is the kingdom of heaven (“As One!” To quote General Maximus from the movie “The Gladiator”) violently rises up against all opposition, and forcefully advances the kingdom together. Breaking barriers that divide us both from our destiny and each other. Scripture says, “Forsake Not The Assembling Of Yourselves Together,” that means like certain Christmas gifts, “some assembly required!” Come worship the Lord with us this weekend!

As we will Break Through the Barriers of Life together “As One”!
