A quick #workoutwednesday to share with you all…. With a busier schedule the past couple of weeks, my motto has been a little something is better than nothing. I know that when I work out, I feel better mentally (and physically). I also know that sleep is extremely important for my personal mind and body. I know some people can last on less sleep than I but I am NOT A nice person with lack of sleep soooo if I can control it, sleep rules over workouts.(within reason). So when you are short on time, or just want to add a quick burst of movement to your day, try these two circuits. You technically don't even need dumbbells but you can definitely crank it up with a pair of dumbbells. Circuit 1: Step ups x 10 each Elevated lunges/ split squats x 10 each Hip thrusters x 10 Circuit 2: Mountain Climbers x 10 each Side plank dips x 10 each Squats x 10 If you are using dumbbells, perform 4-5 rounds depending on weights/how much time you have. If you are doing body weight only, try to do as many rounds as you can of each circuit in 10 minutes (each) for a 20 minute AMRAP.
