“I light a candle for all who struggle. For the ones who are lost and for the ones left behind. I light a candle for the future. For you, and me.” This was supposed to be a cute New Year drawing, but as a town close to where I grew up suffered from a big landslide I changed my mind. I reflected a bit more on this year, and decided to make something a bit more somber.  Gaeril is my dungeons and dragons druid, and the halfling bard Alusys belongs to @vesprynna

Things I could have next week:

1.) My own studio apartment. 2.) A full time job with benefits and high enough pay that I could keep up with prospective apartment (while also being a job that I would actually want). COME ON, UNIVERSE.  MY LIFE HAS BEEN INSANE.  HELP A GIRL OUT? I find out Monday if I get the apartment, and on Monday I also have the second interview for this job at a French-American School.  My French studies will have actually paid off.  *cries tears of joy*
