THE KILLERS - LIGHTNING FIELDS // PHOTO: LADZINSKI
I just wanted to run my fastest and stand beside you
In the lightning field of love
I didn't want to wake up
I just wanted to run my fastest and
Stand beside you in the lightning field
Press your face to mine
Name and raise again
Take the car out for a drive
This was so much fun! This is "Lightning Fields" by The Killers and KD Lang, as I see it because of synesthesia! A huge thank you to my Patrons for asking me to pick this apart!
It’s difficult and cathartic. In this case it was a beautiful experience. Imagining my aging father with a replaced knee, having the opportunity to run and stand with my mother again was very emotional to try and capture.

Lately, for me, it’s been Lightning Fields. I don’t know why, but I “break down” and “break it down” at the same time with that one.
