I remember being in the 8th grade, in the middle of an art class, everyone moving about and focused on their project. I was standing, holding my paper mache mask in one hand, and a paint brush in the other, when my crush comes up to me and says “you’ve amazed me again” and walked away.

Every now and then, that moment pops up in my head.

I like remembering that feeling.
