Rhi!!!! I have a question about Lightning Rod!!! how did the reader escape Baji (the first time)? did they tip off the police or one day they just woke up and discovered he got arrested on the news or something-

i honestly had to go back and re-read lightning rod to remember what i wrote hfdjhvgfjdks

it can't really be called an 'escape' as such. baji's arrest wasn't related to the reader, she's far too terrified of toman to even think about snitching

draken's the one to show up at baji's apartment and tell her he'd been arrested. rather than keeping her there under lock and key like baji wants, he lets her go. gives her enough money to get her started and tells her to find someplace far, far away and disappear if she knows what's good for her.
