Hello! This is pyroninja from the comments on White Noise. So, my idea was, I would love to see an AU where Ruby and Penny were just friends and Weiss did ask Ruby out. Even just a single chapter with no smut, it just sounded like a fun idea in my head :)

I will privately tell you that even though that AU won’t be happening, there will be some Weiss/Ruby bonding time in a future “spinoff fic”. Not just trying to placate; it’s already been written, the fics are just an unholy mess and need a LOT of editing haha.

They were sitting together, Kim's head on his shoulder and fingers entwined. They weren't speaking, just letting the silence wash over them. Which was why it had been such a surprise when Loch leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. Kim let herself get lost in the kiss, for only a moment, before softly pushing him away.

"What are you doing?"

Loch's face went pale at the sight of the strip. That...certainly explained why it seemed like she had snuck over to his place, and her distressed state upon leaving the bathroom. He went back into his room and sat down next to her on the bed, his shoulder pressed against hers, and reached over to give her hand a supportive squeeze. "Huh..."

Kim didn't look at him, her hand limp in his. They weren't even a couple. One thing had led to another one night when he'd been staying with her, but that was it. And it wasn't like they'd ever spoken of it again - so when Kim's period had been late, she'd been confused. And then freaked out. "I-I'm sorry."
