What if Mack doesn’t actually need white noise to sleep, but it started out in dev camp when he roomed with Will for the first time. William button-nose-deviated-septum-mouth-breather Smith Hockey snored SO bad and Mack was too polite to say anything because Will was like sooo good at hockey and did you know he had 71 points his freshman year at BC and he is so cool he can talk to anyone and he actually seems to like Mack even though they are supposed to be enemies and shit. So he can’t be rude and tell him to shut up. But Mack is just laying there for hours listening to this guy snore and he is never gonna fall asleep like this. So finally he opens up his phone and blasts some ocean wave rainforest soundtrack to drown out the snoring. Will wakes up the next day and is like dude what’s with the nature shit? And Mack is still too polite to tell Will his fuckass Barbie nose kept Mack up all fucking night so he lies that he needs white noise to sleep. Will is so sweet and thoughtful that he puts a playlist on for Mack the next night as they are heading to bed and well I guess Mack is going to have to listen to white noise for the rest of his life now
