Camilla & Ione: C - A Supports (Mother/Daughter)
(Ione belongs to @lightningbug-lane! Go check her stuff out! Requested by @thewisemankey.)
Ione: Ah, Camilla. I’ve been wanting to speak to you. Lord/Lady Corrin suggested that I--
Camilla: Oh, Corrin. Hasn’t he/she grown up to be a such a handsome/beautiful young man/lady?
Camilla: Perhaps I flatter myself, but I do believe it’s largely thanks to my maternal influence.
Camilla: I suppose I’m a natural at it. Who knows where I picked that up from?
Camilla: I’m sorry, did I interrupt? How rude of me, not letting you speak your mind. An unthinkable crime.
Camilla: I suppose I just got distracted. My siblings mean so much to me, you know.
Camilla: Family is just so important, don’t you think, Mother?
Ione: You little brat. Don’t think I don’t see what you’re doing here.
Camilla: Mother, how dare you? I just came over here to talk and you’re turning it into an argument.
Ione: Hah. You’re lucky I don’t wish to be on Lord/Lady Corrin’s bad side.
Ione: Otherwise, I would not hesitate to punish you. You may be grown, but I am still your mother.
Camilla: Oh, please. I haven’t given up my training in your absence. You couldn’t handle me.
Ione: What a boastful girl...
Ione: Camilla. I was beginning to think you weren’t planning on showing up for guard duty. I thought I taught you to be more prompt.
Camilla: Mm. I suppose I forgot. If only I could forget the years of pure torture putting up with you.
Camilla: Hah. If you feel so strongly, perhaps we should just stay away from each other.
Ione: I want nothing more than that. Unfortunately, your little brother/sister seems to enjoy pairing us up.
Ione: I heard it, too. Someone’s approaching. Do you have your weapon?
Camilla: I’m not a fool, Mother. Of course I do.
Camilla: Stop right there!
Ione: They have magic. Camilla, look out!
Ione: You’ve forced my hand!
Ione: Camilla! Are you alright?
Camilla: Yes... Thanks to you pushing me out of the way...
Ione: The same can’t be said for our attacker.
Camilla: You haven’t lost your touch. That magic blast was impressive.
Ione: I trained you better than that. Had I not been here, you would have been killed. Disgusting.
Ione: Now you’re going to cry? Hah. You’ve grown weak, dear.
Camilla: You’re right. I have. For a second, I believed there might be a chance we could make things right between us.
Camilla: How foolish of me.
Camilla: I have nothing to say to you, Mother.
Ione: Then you shall listen.
Camilla: Hah. Am I supposed to believe that?
Ione: You do not have to. But it is true.
Ione: To be quite honest, my intention days ago was to apologize, as Lord/Lady Corrin suggested I do.
Ione: I understand that it is far too late for us to truly mend our relationship.
Ione: Nonetheless, I feel it is my duty, both to Lord/Lady Corrin and to you, to at least try.
Ione: My actions towards you when you were younger, and even over the last few days, are unforgivable. I understand this.
Camilla: ...It’s hard to believe these words are even leaving your mouth. Since when do you admit your own mistakes?
Ione: I have made many mistakes, Camilla. I am painfully aware of all of them, even ones you can’t begin to fathom.
Ione: I took out my own self-loathing on you. For that, I am truly and deeply sorry.
Camilla: ...Hmph. You’re right about one thing, Mother. I can never forgive you for what you’ve done to me.
Camilla: However... I suppose, if you so wish, I can try to be civil with you.
Camilla: If you are willing to apologize and admit your faults, I owe you at least that much.
Ione: I am... quite glad, Camilla.
Camilla: So am I, actually... It’s as if a great burden was lifted from my shoulders as soon as I said that.
Camilla: Would you mind... Is it alright if I gave you a hug?
Camilla: Thank you, Mother...
Ione: No. Thank you, Camilla.
