"Hmm…" Kyurem listened to Reshi's response carefully. The desire to be strong to lead the people was one he identified with. Gods needed to be pillars of power, of strength, to keep their planet's safe.
Though, he didn't know if Reshi was a Planetary God or not. Different universe held different rules.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy yourself along with being strong," he began. "Back on my planet, every year, there was a festival for each of the seven planetary Gods. One was dedicated to Taiji and I, of course."
"It was a festival of blessings. As you know, I do not like being touched, and it was well known throughout the people on Yasiviloft. Instead, they would hold out a small stick with a paw on the end of it. If I nuzzled it with my nose, should I feel the person was worthy, it was a small blessing for luck and fortune for the individual."
"Those festivals were nice," he smiled softly, remembering it. A happy time on a world that wasn't always so. "We can't rewrite the past, or change it. We can only embrace the now, and change it for the future."
"If a God does not know how to relax, and all they know is how to protect, they are not a responsible God at all," he huffed, "there needs to be a balance of strength and play, otherwise, as you so clearly describe, they become cold and cruel. Losing the delights of the world is like losing half of your soul. YOU cared for him, and made sure he rested. You supported his strength, and that is just as important as raw power."
Something he knew all too well.
"Aspire to be like, sure, but comparing yourself to someone will only harm you."
