Throwback Wednesday?
On my 15th birthday, which is a big one here, I was on the other side of the world from my home and family, in New Zealand, and I watched a Shakespeare in the Park production of The Taming of the Shrew.
After the show the cast was standing around outside and I just froze and stared at them with a really wide smile and started crying profusely at the same time. I was taken to see them and it must have been really weird to have some unstable girl freaking out at the prospect of meeting them, none of them were famous as far as I know.
I'm not sure how comprehensible my English was in that state but I think we managed to communicate. One of them said I had the biggest smile they had ever seen and I know I had tears running down my cheeks the whole time, so it must have been quite a sight.
Anyway, they were all absolutely lovely to me, and all of them autographed one of their scripts and gave it to me as a birthday gift, along with a script for As You Like It, which I had watched earlier that week.
It's still a really nice memory to me, it aways makes me smile. I hope it was more flattering than creepy to them.
yesterday i finished me3 once more, i clicked on the start mission and-
*Trisha voice* hi everyone, um... AH i’m already crying
seriously i was a mess. idk how that game always makes me cry so much. saying goodbye to everyone, the characters you love so so much, and... everyone is so damn sad but determinated. someone can’t even express their fear of losing, of shepard dying... IM- AAAA i need a break
and joker??? saluting shepard before arriving in London?? like=? he was terrified okay?? that was sAD
and saying goodbye to garrus like that???? i still have nightmares about it.
and CAN We talk about how shepard stares at the normandy leaving, while running to the beam??? I- I didnt remember how much that hurt.
but the scene that shattered me the most? all the normandy crew in front of the memorial, garrus with shepard’s tag in his hands. I WAS SOBBING AT THAT POINT
i need fanfics. now. again.
oh. and wait, i forgot the best part: WE ARE GOING TO EXPERIENCE THIS PAIN™ IN 4K?????????? I CANT---
i mean im so damn happy about the remaster, so happy it doesnt even feel real, we’ve spent so much time dreaming about it that now it feels impossibile to really have it. buT GOSH --- YA KNOW??? AAAAAAAAAAAA
it’s so weird reading Iceman and then going back to another x-men comic (i.e. all new x-men) and being like Damn That’s A Tiny Bobbo
Gonna go to NYC for my birthday! Gonna go see the Michelangelo exhibition at the Met! Gonna pay too much for a hotel room, but whatever -- it’s New York!
Only two and a half weeks to go -- I’m so excited!
is it rly that time of day where i hallucinate the sound of an ice cream van .... this has happened for two summers now wt f is wrong with me it wont stop lmao
my iq is almost as high as the number of mosquito bites
Do you remember the fic? I wrote ppg fanfic back in the day and now I have to know
absolutely not. i don't even remember the site it was on. considering the time frame probably ff.net, pre striketrhough? whatever the last one was I think. and it definitely would have been axed in that. I remember getting to the sex bits and then deciding i was Not Ready For That and closing out of it.
