Just saw this stage comedian audience member tell a story about how their great grandmother shot their great grandfather and the great grandfather proceeded to call the ambulance himself and wait for them on the porch while smoking a cigar and I just need everyone to know that that is a textbook regulus and Rabastan moment
Like, the og story ended in the great grandfather telling the paramedics she shot him and then promptly dropping dead but i imagine Rabastan would probably just be groaning and annoyed and complaining to whatever poor soul is in charge of patching him up. “He said he was aiming for my heart and missed ‘like always these days,’ can you believe that dramatic bitch?” “Sir, your husband shot you in the shoulder??” And he just like waves them off.
I also like ti imagine this is a thing that got passed through the grape vine really fast because rabastan was kind of tripping from blood loss and told literally eveyrone and regulus also like called and bitched to Pandora who told the rest of the skittles and everybody thinks ‘ok this is it, they’re getting a divorce finally’ and they literally just don’t. Rabastan comes back from the hospital two days later and kisses his husband liek nothing happened and he’s not currently bandaged and life goes on.
