Homeshake is probably our favorite kind of “shake”. It’s better than any cloying milkshake, that’s for sure. Montreal’s Pete Sagar, who used to be a member of Mac DeMarco, just announced his project’s new album Helium, out February 15th via Sinderlyn, and he’s shared a gooey, slinky, and buttery first track named Like Mariah. Drizzled in a light mist, Like Mariah is intimate yet dispersed, a dreamy intoxicating slice of Homeshake’s trademark sound, a blend of warped, wonky R&B, whimsical funk, and sticky, gauzy indietronica.
