I don't usually do this, but I decided that that I might as well start sharing my OCs on here. Since I can't draw (and I refuse to use AI), I use Pintrest and Picrew (for this one I used the oc maker by snakeinajar) to make moodboards.
This is my Star Wars (specifically Clone Wars/Prequels Era) OC.
Her name is Amaris "Mar" Kenobi. I know we're starting off a bit Mary-Sue-ish backstory, but I promise you it gets better. She is the biological daughter of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satine Kryze, and the twin sister of Korkie Kryze. At first Satine meant to raise Korkie and Amaris (who was given the name Jinn at birth by Satine) secretly as her niece and nephew in the public's eyes, with only them knowing that they are her children (and never knowing that they are also the child of a Jedi), but Death Watch stole Amaris as a baby. They were unable to get Korkie as well. So Amaris was raised in Death Watch. However, she was kept mostly separate from the others due to the fact that Pre Vizsla wanted her to be the absolute opposite of her mother. He even took extreme measures and invoked ancient Mandalorian traditions in his teaching and training of her.
Quick necessary lore break--in the Mandalorian (the show), the group that Din was raised in are called The Children of the Watch. They're an extremist offshoot of Death Watch who follow "The Way of Mandalore" in a way Death Watch never really did, which does include never taking off ones helmet.
Pre Vizsla raised her in this way as he thought it would connect her more strongly to the warrior religion of their ancient roots. He also believed that in training her this way would one day prime her to truly become Mand'alor.
However, he didn't expect two things: his rigorous training would allow for Amaris's strong natural affinity for the Force to flourish, and that Amaris would have visions. So, thanks to a mix of that and the fact that she has her father's temper and both of her parent's stubbornness, she decides to rebel at the young age of seven.
This is going into my fanfiction that I'm writing (The Peacekeeper by sci_fi_nerd), but the gist of it is that it starts at the beginning of The Phantom Menace where she meets Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Long story short, at the end of the movie Obi-Wan ends up taking her and Anakin on as Padawans (at the same time, which I do know is a bit unbelievable but there are circumstances that allowed for it to happen).
It's a big fix it, but a big part of it is that thanks to the existence of Amaris and her relationship to Anakin and Obi-Wan (and others in the series), the Republic doesn't fall, Anakin doesn't fall, and the Jedi Order doesn't fall. They all change for the better though.
Some fun facts about her is that she has an affinity for animals like Obi-Wan, she's aroace, she loves spicy food, she has a serious temper that gets a bit more under control during the series, she is Count Dooku's favorite person in his lineage, she can't fly or drive anything but she can fight and strategize better than most people ever could wish to do, and she keeps her hair long because she believes that to cut it (so that it wouldn't obstruct her helmet) would show that she is a full Mandalorian Warrior and not a Jedi as well as a Mandalorian.
