- enid calls carl “cowboy” bc of the Hat™ and a hundred percent steals his hat daily
- carl pretends to be mad but thinks it’s cute
- same w when she starts “borrowing” his flannels and shirts
- after she starts calling him cowboy, he sarcastically calls her “princess” and the nickname stuck
- carl takes total advantage of the height difference and will hold things enid needs above her head
- comic books are their thing, but they pretend they’re not. even if once a day they sneak away to read together. even if carl always looks for more books for enid while on runs.
- they are also the most stubborn assholes. they once got into a fight over captain america v iron man. it’s still a sore subject
- enid is a great cook but carl doesn’t know bc he thinks everything she does is the best thing in the world
- carl is an awful cook tho and cooks most meals for the 2 of them whenever they’re together bc he wants to give her a break from cooking at the hilltop. enid has threatened maiming if anyone tells him that he burns everything he touches
