I can't lie I do think I have a fairly different interpretation than most I see for them, I think they both had normal views of sex at first - then one night they were together and they hooked up in the witchwoods, resulting in the birth of Lil Jerry. Then they were both so terrified of their son that it scared them into abstinence, and because they never wanted to see another creature like him, they decided to set up a camp to promote abstinence to others and prevent the chance of anything like it happening again.
I think the killing thing was never meant to get as bad as it did. Lil Jerry killed one kid, and they were both scared - obviously, why wouldn't they be? - but telling the police would mean their camp getting shut down, and if it got shut down then they couldn't stop anybody else from making another Lil Jerry, so obviously the only choice was to bury the body themselves. They figured they weren't feeding Lil Jerry enough, but they start feeding him more and he's still killing. They contemplate telling the police again, but now there's been two murders, that's practically a guarantee that the camp will get shut down - they can't risk it, they just can't. Eventually Boy Jerry gets used to it, he's always the one dealing with the dead kids anyway, so he kind of becomes numb to it. Girl Jeri on the other hand, panics every time. And the panicking only makes it worse, and Jerry realises if she keeps panicking then she's going to tell the police. So he starts manipulating her into staying calm, into keeping quiet about it, and suddenly it's all going to plan. The bodies are hidden, nobody questions the kids randomly disappearing - sure, parents come to the camp worried, but editing a register isn't hard - that child never showed up at camp in the first place! The Jerries just figured they'd decided to not come.
AND FOR FAVOURITE NON-HF MUSICAL, it has to be TTO, I love it so much
And favourite non-starkid would have to be Starlight Express 2024, I love the characters so much
