We have a running joke in our campaigns that no one wants to play a regular assimar, we all play homebrew subraces haha. Like in our world kitsunes are a subrace of aasimar, we have a homebrewed primordial aasimar, and ive played a glaasimar, a glass sculpture brought to life by a god. I think its just everyone doesnt give a crap about aasimar haha

Whats the scariest situation your dnd character(s) has ever been in?

For Aria?

Probably, hm. Emotionally, dealing with a murderous and emotionally unstable man in a position of power. She had to marry him and deal with that, so that was probably terrifying. She lived in fear. Physically, during the campaign she was about 3 HP away from death because of some horrible monsters (a Heart Eater) once. And also there was this awful fight where she had to fight this powerful cult member alone in an empty arena, and she had to use a dagger and her own hands to cast. So that was brutal.

For Beau?

He had a period of time where he didn’t know whether Aria was doing okay, and he was forbidden to see her because she was married to that jealous shitty lord. He tried to sneak in to see her but basically had the shit beat out of him at every failed attempt, his mom was killed as a punishment, and he was cast out onto the streets which was VERY unsafe for someone of his race. (His race is discriminated against a lot and there are hate-crimes every day, and no laws protecting them.) And then, after Aria killed the lord and ran? It scared him that he didn’t know where she was for five years, dead or alive.
