brandi, can you teach me how to do those google searches and articles you did, please? like i'm so in need of them :( how did you do that shit?
omg of course!! so for the google news page, i used this template.
for the e!news article, i made my own template. here’s an example, you can download it here if you want to!
here’s a tutorial for the google search gif:
1. clear your own search history, and then search for whatever you want to show up for your character
2. type in google.com (using the header bar or the new tab page won’t look the same)
3. if you have windows 10, hit the windows key + ALT + R to start recording your screen. if you don’t have windows 10, there are other recording programs you can use
4. type whatever you want them to be searching for (your speed doesn’t matter, you can always change it in photoshop)
5. end the recording.
6. this part is kinda weird because my photoshop is *cough* different, but from here on out, you’re just making a standard gif! personally, i use “free video to jpg converter” to turn the video file into frames
7. go into photoshop and click file - scripts - load multiple dicom files. select your frames.
8. highlight all your layers and click “create frame animation” (this should be on the bottom of your screen, under a tab called “timeline”). then click the three little lines towards the right, and click “make frames from layers”
9. adjust speed, set to loop forever, crop (here’s a size guide), etc.
10. highlight all your frames and click the bottom left icon to convert to timeline
11. hit filter - convert for smart filters (now you can adjust brightness/contrast/etc. if you want to)
12. to save, press file - save for web. make sure you change the looping options to “forever”. then hit done!
