Sabrina and Lilith are one another’s mirrors, not just in their seasonal narratives (Part 1 Lilith is the dark side, Sabrina the light, but in Part 2 Sabrina explores her dark side and Lilith explores her light) but in their stories and characters.
Both are woman specifically created for a specific reason; Lilith to be the First Woman, Sabrina to be the Half-Witch-Half-Mortal that joins the ‘two tribes’.
Both are created in a non-traditional manner; Lilith was created from earth, and Sabrina was created by a sort of...immaculate conception in a way due to the fact Diana did not have sex with Lucifer. They just asked for help having a child, and then boom, she’s pregnant.
Both have technical deities as their technical Fathers: Lilith’s is the False God, and Sabrina’s is the Dark Lord
Both reject their technical Fathers and condemn them
Both are a matter of special interest to Lucifer and are used to his purpose: Lilith is taken under his metaphorical wing and manipulated into doing his bidding, Sabrina is ‘protected’ by him (in his view anyway) and manipulated into signing the Book and becoming the Herald of Hell
Both are the closest witches to Lucifer. Like literally no two witches are closer to him. Not emotionally but with their...interactive proximity
Both are the first of their kind; Lilith was the first witch, Sabrina the first half-mortal.
Both struggle with their non-dominant sides: Lilith struggles to accept her light side, Sabrina struggles to accept her dark, but both have these sides and both are strong in each of them
Both of them are strong women who do not want to kneel to anyone; even though Lilith does kneel to Satan eventually, we all know the abuse and manipulation and circumstances that lead to this, but she is primarily known for refusing to bow to Adam, refusing to bow to any man. Sabrina literally says in the show ‘I kneel to no one’ when the witch hunters are attacking, and Sabrina’s whole narrative is about not bowing to Satan
Similarly you can say Sabrina’s refusal to bow to Lucifer, to do what he tells her, is a direct parallel to Lilith refusing to bow to Adam and to do what the False God told her
Both are willing to sacrifice others for something they deem a higher purpose; Lilith killing the random boy to summon the Thirteen, Sabrina killing Agatha to bring back Harvey’s brother. True Sabrina brings her back and intends to cheat death, but she does willingly cut her throat
Both are potential Queens of Hell
Both don’t like the role the Dark Lord wants them to have, both contrive against it
Both reject the establishment patriarchy in a very open manner; Sabrina nominating herself for Top Boy, Lilith having ‘no gender discrimination under my regime’ at the school.
Both are opinionated, strong, self-determined, willing to go the extra mile, both have tempers (They both threaten to kill people on more than one occasion. Sabrina’s threat of ‘I’ll make you choke on your own blood’ could easily come out of Lilith’s mouth too) and yet both also have great emotions, they feel things intently. We’ve seen the pair of them cry, really cry. I think it’s safe to say emotions play a huge part in both of their behaviours
They are very similar, very much mirrors and foils to one another, but the difference is Sabrina has been raised in a loving environment, with a loving family, supportive friends etc, so she has a more positive way of expressing all of these things. Conversely, Lilith has known nothing but control, abuse, manipulation, violence, fear and so she has a more negative way of expressing these things. I personally see the pair of them as kinda having the vibe of being the Yin-Yang symbol
