@liliumparty
honestly, we haven't done much else besides this. we saw a sign for botanical gardens and considered doing that today, but we have gardens at home. we don't have ocean.
the first evening, we had shrimp and fish sandwiches at a little dive bar beside a boatyard and got pie from a stand on the side of the road. last night, we went to a really fancy seafood place with a view of the sunset. i had some lobster pasta and he had the catch of the day. we usually order different things so we can try each other's. we tried the free breakfast at the woodsy inn yesterday, but it was pretty bad. except for the make your own waffles, that was fun. breakfast today was room service and a huge sampler of various things we ate out on the balcony, and that was nicer.

You sure are curious about my job... er, not that I mind! Because I don't.
But the answer is cases against debt collectors. There's something about harrassing people for money you know they don't have being your whole job that makes me feel not very bad AT ALL for you, when you get in legal trouble for being... disgustingly pushy. I'll rake you over the coals. Guess who owes money now? YOU. Jerk.
[ XIV. TEMPERANCE ] - Does your muse have any traits that contrast each other (like being kind at someone but not to another)? How often is one trait shown compared to the other trait?
Arcana/Tarot-based Asks
((I got three of these. :'D Everyone is very interested to know about Crowley's contrasting traits. Which, yeah, she has them!
My original design plans for her were for her to be a kind of quiet, kind of nerdy Nice™ person with a vicious streak that favored heavy weapons and had a particular interest in the morbid sciences. She still does! She's grown into her heroic role more than was originally intended, but those two major facets - that she's a genuinely kindhearted, sometimes awkward dork and also a destructive force of nature with a lot of anger and sometimes dark curiosity - are still at play.
She struggles with it, trying to find a balance between what's palatable to her more 'normal' friends - on here, in town - and what's expected from her work - culturally and practically. How much - of either side! - are people really going to tolerate from her, and how many are making excuses to justify or dismiss the uglier parts because she's Nice™?
And she likes being able to be good to people, to come home and be goofy and bake and garden and all things... but I think she'd get restless if that was all there was. She'd be lying if she said she didn't like being the most dangerous thing in a room too. It's largely a matter of trying to keep her work face at work.))
@liliumparty: …I hate my curiosity on this. Was the cursed artifact being repurposed or was that the cursed artifact's purpose?
This was not the artifact's intended purpose, no. It's a carved whistle or flute.
@liliumparty
it's not that i dislike them. sometimes, they can even be fun. but i like co-napping to the sound of rain and thunder better.

[ 0. FOOL ] - What was your muse's point of view during their (humble) beginnings? (Feel free to specify which aspect)
((Marking Beginnings as roughly blogstart, around the time she was chosen by the Buzzing...
She was lost. Scared. Crowley was part of the large portion of the population that didn't have any particular magical ability and no connection to the supernatural community of the Secret World. She woke up one morning to find her world crumbling around her and the sudden onset of the ability to set things on fire by looking at them too long.
She wasn't sure if she was losing her mind or dying, possibly both.
The Illuminati headhunter that kicked in her door was the only lifeline she had, and having only recently gotten out from under her aunt's thumb, she didn't have much frame of reference for the kind of environment she came to be working in. It took a minute for her to catch on that workplaces probably shouldn't be drugging you, breaking your limbs, implanting spinal tracking devices/explosives, or sending underperformers to be eaten by the c-suite. Those are weird and bad! And not things to be discussed in polite company.))

"Absolutely the fuck not, I know a horribly built animatronic suit when I see one. I'm not rebuilding my own bones and organs more times than I have to."
